Hey all... as the title states I'm lookin for info on a decent yielding OG pheno. I've ran quite a few of em... the blackwater, Larry, Fire, Raskal, Abusive, and Tahoe right off the top of my head. My favorite of them all was the abusive, but she didn't yield nearly enough and I lost the mom anyways. The Larry was also off the chain, and I kept her around.. but the yield still isnt what I'm lookin for... maybe I gotta veg her out a bit more?? The Blackwater, Fire, and Tahoe all yielded excellent, but were bland in OG flavor... As of right now I'm sittin on three OG moms: Holy Grail OG, Platinum OG, and Larry OG. Anyone have any info on these three cuts? Maybe even tips to get em to yield a lil more? If nobody has info on these I'd gladly take advice on any other OGs that you've had good results with. Thanks in advance everyone... stay irie

was the tahoe og from cali connection because the real clone only tahoe is some straight face melter and soe is the real fire og raskals cut any ways to get og's to yield you need to pintch the shit out of them basically super crop them with out bending the branch over just grabb the branch and pinch it till you feel it snap and then let it heal its self of you could twist it till it snaps this will help with the stretching in flower and increase your yield hope this helps

Topping, supercropping ect. Bending, pinching, tying down. Make a bushy OG and you got yourself a good sized yield. Imo the only way to do it. I get great yields from almost all the OG's i run or have ran. Just do a little training. Good luck and hope for the best :)

that abusive cut is the biggest yielder but not real ogish imo... i dont think you'll find an og that yields more then that one..

its all about training them and bushing them out so they dont stretch all crazy and viney.. top, pinch, tie down, lst, etc etc. you can even try that product bushmaster if you want, it reduces stretching and forces it to bush, thats how you get these ogs to yield.. BUSH EM!

i still havent mastered them, it seems like the happy point to do the topping and pinching i slack off and next thing i know they grew two feet in a week. haha they take off real fast at like the second or third week, so u gotta catch em early and top and pinch to prevent that. just dial one of them in and you will get it soon enough..

but if youre growing for yield more then quality you'd be better off with a different strain. like blue dream or really i would suggest chem dawg or a diesel.. theyre still top shelf quality and yield pretty nicely..

casey jones is a very econimical plant also cuz it yields hugely and is still good quality.

If you're willing to go the hybrid route I'm betting the Alien's Tahoe Alien f2s would yield you something pretty nice. They're f2s so you can definitely select for something Tahoe dom, and you'd probably get a much better structure vs. Tahoe alone. Buy 2 packs, a lil' searchin and you'd kill it.

thanks for the help n great advice everyone... will take it all into consideration. Btw... yes the tahoe and I believe the raskal were from cali connection stock, but I aquired them in clone form so someone did some kinda selecting I'd hope. The Tahoe was potent... just didnt have that og taste I'm lookin for... she had a more cherry aroma and palate to her. Anyways... thanks again for the tips, I'll post some pics of my moms shortly

Totally agree. The way you grow a plant plays a large part in how big the yield is that you'll get off it.

XXX Og is a better yielding OG for sure. Also I have to say the Pre98 Bubba we have is a pig. A dream to grow as well. Some raunchy OG leather and coffee dankess there. They are fairly similar, difference are there Pre98 stretches more than the XXX flavor is very different.

Peace

Hey There.. I've grown most of these.. and some beans I was gifted from a small but talented breeder "Bombudpuffa" called LLOG.. Not only some of the prettiest plants I've grown out but I was astounded because having just chopped some kushage I never expected large buds nor as many budsites.. I'm not sure if it was his own makings, most are having grown out others of his that also were sublime. If you can find that lemon pledge smelling pheno that triples when flipped, you know you found your lady.. happy journey man, it's the best part....Looking and growing..
peace

Top so you have 4 to 6 strong branches, and remove all other growth. Best way to yield without stressing about overly intense training. Extra weeks in veg make a huge difference with OG's, but they will double in height so be weary of the ceiling.
