So I’m currently on day 29 veg and I have what looks to be a deficiency starting to form obit can’t figure out what it is. I have so far put the same feed in all pots not all are showing. But the feeds have been 3 tbsp of 4-4-4 Gaia Green and 1 tbsp of gypsum and azomite.

Do a pour thur and catch some of the run-off and test it. Looks like your pH is dropping a little due to the amendments. As the pH drops potassium will become unavailable and can show tip burn.

as Trixie said catch the run off and check the ph seems like pH Fluctuations just manange your ph correctly.

Thanks I have actually sat down and did my research on the ph and noticed my ph was too low I went from 5.8 to 6.4 ( reasoning a lot of my help are people in hydro and they recommend a ph of 5.8-6.0 for next up take.) . Also knowledge from others and looking at my soil it didn’t have enough potassium in it for how long I have I was going before amending.

Sorry trix, a pH induced deficiency won’t burn.

Nitrogen, K, S are essential plant nutrients that are much less affected directly by pH than other essential nutrients, like P and Fe.

Zill.

So what do you think would be causing that on my plants? I thought maybe a ph problem due to I had a failing ph pen at the beginning.

Kdot,
Send pic or two showing the entire plant.
I will have to wait till lights kick on in 3 hours to see if it has happened to the other plants or not the one in the videos and the pics was marked a male on the gender test kit so I pitched it.

Saw them. Thanks. To be honest it doesn’t look all that bad. Just guessing, the soil looks a bit dry.

Random guesses is all youll get with out info!!!

1. Are you growing from seed or clones?
2. How old are your plants?
3. How tall are your plants?
4. What size containers are they planted in?
5. What is your soil mix?
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use?
7. What is the pH of your water?
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio?
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")
11. How close are your lights to the plants?
12. What size is your grow space in square feet?
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space?
14. What is the pH of the soil?
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space?
16. How much experience do you have growing?

If you look at this nutrient absorption chart you will see that potassium is less available when the pH drops in the 5.5 to 6.0 range. That's not to mention calcium and phosphorus becomes less available too. Adding 4-4-4 Gaia Green would be plenty unless the pH drops too low.

1. seed
2. 35 days
3. I have 8 plants running can’t give you a size
4. 1 gallon plastic till I flip to flower then will be 3 gallon fabric till harvest
5. fox farm happy frog (3 tbsp of 4-4-4 Gaia green, 1 tbsp of epsom salts, gypsum, rock dust every 2 weeks, 2 tbsp of mykos on transfer.)
6. I water every 3 days and collect my water from a local spring by my house.
7. Start of run was doing 5.8 but moved to 6.4 due to research
8. For veg 4-4-4 Gaia Green bloom would be 2-8-4 Gaia Green.
9. No I’m fairly new haven’t into the sprays and such yet.
10. Iongrid T24 260 watt light
11. 24 inches
12. 8 sq ft
13 temp 70 lights off 75-77 lights on humidity is roughly 45-55%
14. My soil ph is 6.4-6.5 normally
15. No I haven’t had any insects I disinfect everything before entering and leaving my grow space
16. 2nd run alone

Hoped this helped this the best I can offer my grow diary is up if you need any picture references.

Yes that’s what made me change my ph from 5.8 to 6.3-6.4

Kdot,
Send pic or two showing the entire plant.
Here’s a picture of the canopy and close up of some of the leaves that I left from what appeared to see if it progressed or not.

A few necrotic spots. Doesn't look too bad. Plants change continuously. The lesions seem to be on the lower leaves, yes. They are neglected leaves. Other than that, plants look pretty good. Others may mention light intensity.

so I’m pretty new to these so idk what necrotic spots are. Also how would I deal with them? Or am I fine just snipping them off.

Ph, the new 'calmag'. Which if excess calmag hadn't become the norm, maybe every grow wouldn't be Boron-potassium deficient.

The closer the dead spots are to the tip, the older they are. Looks like it has improved, unless you keep adding calcium.

Excess calcium is a goofy trend that doesn't apply to cannabis, as cannabis absorbs calcium easily, then struggles to uptake potassium. Burnt tips always mean potassium deficiency in Cannabis. A calcium deficiency in Cannabis is almost almost always a boron deficiency. Adding calcium (and magnesium and nitrate) is only going to limit potassium.

If you add potassium without phosphorus you'll run into problems as you're already lacking P. The solution? Wait for the fertilizer companies to catch up to the shitty led lights that cause these problems on practically every grow. Or run bloom nutes start to finish.

There is probably a nice healthy dose of Ca in the water. These are old leaves that typically show issues, your going to want to leave them alone allowing you to observe the progress. Your old growth will never recover, so look to your new growth for signs of it helping. The way outta wack PH seems to have affected some, and the new growth seems clean and clear. It takes around a week to see changes implemented. Your plants are on the edge of root bound, and i would transplant stat. 30 days in 1 gal is right there.
@KenKenaf hes been running 444

I plan on flipping this coming weekend they are only on week 3 in the 1 gallon they started in a solo cup but I have gotten good look at the root balls when I pitched the males I seen they getting bound. I just wanted to wait till next weekend because of my amend schedule as it was planned for next week.
