Blueberry Trainwreck
27 days into flower
west coast horticulture A & B plus cal mag
Dont know whats going on, leaves are turning pale green, actually kind of a pea green, developing necrotic spots that spread through the leaf. Lower leaves are not effected first, neither is new growth, it seems to be starting randomly all over the plant. Hopefully it's super simple and i'm just super ignorant, lol. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd say your ppms are too low, kick them up about double. Then, in 2 weeks, taper off slowly until the last week you're flushing with straight water.

You're not going to get a big yield off this run, the poor girl didn't get enough to eat soon enough. But you'll still get some quality if you judiciously step it up now.

Thanks for your thoughts, 300-500 is what i give all my girls in flower, sometimes bumping it up to 600 in mid flower. I usually get 4 zips from my 3 gallon smart pots and 8 from my 5 gallon smart pots so i really doubt it's the ppm, but you could be correct. I've definitely found that going above 400 ppm early in flower will cause serious problems with the bbtw strain.

I agree with stikk, 300-500 pmm is too low for a plant that size in flowering. The elongated pistils are a classic sign of underfeeding. Do they get only water some waterings? or is it 400 pmms every time they get wet?

they never get straight water, never less than 200 ppm, usually 400 ppm. I check my runoff ppm every time i water so i have a very good idea of how much my plants are eating, but obviously something went wrong with this plant, so i apparently dont have it all figured out, lol. the last two bbtw plants i flowered were in 100% coco in 3 gallon smart pots, i fed them 300 ppm for the first week, 400 ppm for week 2-6 then tapered off to 0 over the last two weeks and i got 4 oz per plant. I've had similar problems with this strain in the past, but only on 1 or 2 branches on otherwise healthy plants, this is the first time it's been this extensive and severe. The next twbb plant i put in i will definitely give a little more food, but i've caused more problems with too much food with this strain than i've had with too little food.

Then maybe its the type of food your feeding it, dont know anything about west coast a&b... With my line running the way I like it, im giving smaller plants than yours 800-1200 ppm during that time of growth... But every other time they get wet i give them just water at about 80 - 100 ppm.

Since y'all were so shocked by my low ppm's i thought i'd post some pics to show what 400 ppm can do.

Heres some of the last plant i harvested. 5 gallon smart pot, 400 ppm for most of flower, one feeding at 500 ppm at the beginning of week 5 and tapered off to zero starting around the middle of week 6. Pretty sure it's going to dry up to 6-8 oz.

For the record, you guys were right. I wasn't paying close enough attention and didn't realize that this plant was needing water every 2-3 days rather than every 1-2 days. It was starving because it was running out of minerals long before it ran out of water. It's different water needs were caused by it being in a normal plastic pot instead of a smart pot like the rest of my plants. Thanks for your help, i'm definitely paying closer attention now and, on your advice, doing some trials with slightly higher ppms.
