runnin an ideal air ds 190 pint inside 20x8 container. wondering if i should direct exhaust out of dehum to outside thru vent. Ive asked a few ppl and they have both said that exhaust is part of the drying process. ??? im not so clear on this because ive been using a drizair 1300 for 8 yrs and i always run the exhaust thru ducting to outside or into another room.

any info would be greatly appreciated

The humidity removal process happens as a result of the warmer room air passing over the cold coil inside the dehum causing condensation on the coil which then drains away thus removing moisture from the air. The hot air coming out of the the dehum is created by the compressive end of the refridgerative process. Venting that air will blow stink out along with heat, which depending on your climate and conditions you're attempting to maintain, could be a good or bad thing. The smell could be an issue too

im trying to keep it cool and dry. 60 to 65 deg temps and 50 to 60% rh

outside is about 70 to 80 % humidity.
