First off I want to thank Aligee for hooking up the beans. It's an amazing cross and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to test it. I'll do my best with with 'em homie. Respect!

I'll be growing 5 Kushplant along side 6 White Fire, 8 White Urkle, 2 Skywalker OG, 2 True OG, and 6 Grand Reserve Headband. I'm only going to be flowering 24 plants total so as I sex the Kushplant's I'll be culling out the males and some of the GRHB. I'll be doing a separate log on the entire grow, this log will only focus on the Kushplant test.

I soaked 6 beans in distilled water on 10/7 for 12 hours or so, then transferred them to a moist paper towel on a plate which I placed on top of my T5 for warmth. Once they had tails I planted them in Light Warrior in beer cups and placed them under an 8 bulb T5.

I did have some problems with germination so some plants are about 1 week older than the others. I started out with 12 seeds and ended up with 5 plants. I went through the process described above 3 times to come out with the 5. Some just didn't crack and some never emerged from the soil. That being said, I did end up with some mutation on a few as well which you will see in the pics. As they grow they seem to be snapping out of it and I've seen this before. It's never seemed to have been a problem once they grow out of it.

...and off we go!:movie:banana1sv6:

Great line up.. This should b a killer grow.. Good luck

More pics to get everyone caught up

I've topped them all at the second node and have continued to top aggressively. I want some shrubs! I gave them a long overdue transplant (I was sick for two weeks) into 1 gal bags with straight Roots Organic soil on 11/7 and put them under a 600 watt mh. I gave them a foliar spray with Age Old kelp this evening and they should be getting their first feeding in the next day or two.

In the first pic the front 5 are Kushplant and the other 6 are White Fire. They were started at the same time except for the couple stragglers which were started about a week later.

How you like the grow bags? Im thinking of using them from now on until girls go into their final home. Spending like 200+ on different sizes and sets of smart pots or even plastic pots is getting spendy. lol.

Lookin good bro! Good to have another farmin in the same race as myself! See ya at the finish line!

I love using the bags for transplants until they reach their final home. This run I did beer cups to 1 gal bags, then they'll go into 3 gal bags, then 5 gal, and final transplant will be into 10 gal Smart Pots. Buying pots is a bitch man and it takes up valuable space and $$$. It's really just personal preference though I guess. The bags are pretty cost effective for a cheap/sterile/disposable product that take up VERY little room when not in use.

I'm relieved to finally get this log going. I've obviously been lagging a bit. haha It'll be cool to grow the same strain at the same time as other farmers. I can't wait to see how this strains works for everyone. I'll be watchin' ya closely bro.:rock

Thanks for the support homie, ya got the same coming from this direction as well! Good vibes all around! Yeah same here, reallly trying to find a Wifi leaner in my 3 that I got goin.

I think mine will go from dixies to 1 gal bags, then to 3gals, then into the soil bed ill have up by next flower!

Good luck homie!

Thanks man!

I've been leaning towards soil beds for a while man. I think some time soon I may set up a bed in one half of my room and do a side by side with smart pots. All the people I know that rock beds kill it and from watching folks here on the farm that rock beds there appears to be a similar outcome...big fuckin' yields!

Best of luck to you bro!

Yeah delae, I like using the bags up until final transplant into Smart pots as well, I've been thinking about using beds recently, the yields are fukken huge!! I'm stumped on the recycling and/or removal of the soil though, I just made the switch back to peat after using coco the last 3 years...too many damn pests. I just dumped (4) 33 gallon totes of it (I felt like Ezel "my neck and my back") lol, whew!! My Kushplants really starting to do the damn thang too bro, good luck!!

Yeah I think most people that rock beds change out the medium every run. There are some pros on here that you could ask.

Thanks for the luck bro!:hi

Looking good man! I think lots of people reuse their coco beds but im not so sure on reusing soil. I think OBS reuses his coco beds all the time if that has any weight. That guy puts out some alien fiya

Thanks man. Definitely makes sense to reuse coco, soil on the other hand would have to be re-amended and probably not be worth the trouble. I think Alien uses fresh soil every run, not sure about GrowMaster.

Current veg pics

Veggie land! Gave all the babies got their first organic feeding tonight and I gave them another liquid kelp foliar spray.

Pics:

1) Kushplant (the lower right one is a White Urkle)

2) All babies for next run.

3) Veg room as of this evening

4) Organic Bountea. I'll be watering and foliar feeding with this tea once a week up until the 3rd-4th week of flowering. I may continue to water it in after week 4 but will no longer be using it as a foliar (it stinks). I've used this stuff for a few years now but mostly on outdoor. This will be the first time I use it as directed on my indoor. Once a week the whole run (I will not be using it through flush).

Currently enjoying some SFV and a few Fish Tale Organic IPA's. :friday::smiley_joint:

Yeah I'm psyched to be kicking this one off for sure. It is a gear test so it is what it is. I'm sure I'll find a keeper out of those 5 and I'm assuming this cross will produce some serious fire. I can't wait to see these things in flower. Thanks for the love man!:bow
