I've been away for a while trying to make this Denver thing happen.
Life works out in crazy ways some times...
Long story short, I was tired of getting low grade bud, and about to set up my own grow earlier this year. Then I reach the stage where I figure out my amp load and realized I would need to run extension cords all over my apt to make it happen.

Then literally a light bulb goes off, why don't I just relocate to colorado and not worry about getting caught and all the other things that could happen. I used to be a tattoo artist not too long ago, so I figure it was time to get back at it to make the Denver thing work. I dropped everything else and spent the past 2 months finding my way there. Well, I just landed a spot there, and moving there in two weeks.

So first my time there, I visited some rec mj places and I will admit it wasnt the best bud I've had. So I guess I'm here to connect with some farmers in Denver and maybe get access to the grade A stuff. I'm new there but managed to make a few friends in my first visit there but no growers. So anyone in Denver interested in hanging with a tattoo artist and aspiring farmer, can PM me.

Hello and welcome to CO in a few weeks, its beautiful here. The legal situation is a real fresh breath of air, shortly followed by a breath of thc rich air but what can you do. The CO folks from around Denver get together semi frequently, though may be a while as there was just a big shindig.

ps. you get a big high five for coming out with a way to support yourself other than mj. its an amazing side benefit, but not really a good way to earn a living for the 98% of people that come here just for that reason.

I'm gonna settle there for a bit, then get my badge. Then maybe, I can do less tattooing, and focus more on my personal art while I work in the MJ industry. I love art, but its people that I cant stand sometimes, hence why I took time off from tattooing in the first place. Btw, hopefully you'll see my art in a few weeks as I am about to launch a t-shirt line in Denver for stoners. I know its a saturated market, but I think I have something different to offer. And its just a side thing so I'd be glad just to break even from it.

Thanks for the welcome back. Will try to stop in here more often, the moment I settle in colorado.

Xavier what did you mean by...

I suspect he means it's good you have another source of income beyond growing, as many move here with goofy expectations about the supposed ease of making fat stacks of cash, and they find out the hard way hat it's not as fast nor as easy as most think...

Good luck to you.

Lots of people move here to work in the MJ industry; the majority of jobs in that industry do not really pay enough to live in Denver. You seem to have a plan other than being a budtender or just "imma move there and grow WEEEEEEED" approach so for that, or at least a skill to fall back on.

That was some weird phrasing originally, not sure what exactly I was trying to say, but I think the above is it.

Perhaps I meant that it is amazing that it is a field that someone could work in, but yeah, moving here to work it doesn't make much sense to me, the vast majority of the positions are around minimum wage which will not cover rent here generally speaking.

ORRRR perhaps I meant that CO has so much cool stuff moving here just for weed is a waste, its just a nice side benefit for while climbing mountains and getting overwhelmed at the outright majestic sights that are around every corner.

I will be there next time:) Family obligations over-ruled me, this past weekend as well. I am a terrible stoner, what can I say. I kind of like your proposal to have the next meetup up north somewhere, always nice to get out of town for a change of scenery.

Welcome to CO! (or save that for when you get here)
14er Holistics is the place to go for genetics if you don't know anyone. It's in Boulder.
Good luck finding your contacts; my buddy loses his all the time so he went with disposables... hahaha

I dont own a car being from NYC, so I'm just taking public transportation. And it was a real eye opener to see how its so different from NYC transit. I'm definitely finding a place within walking distance to work. Would you by any chance know any good places in the Denver area, looking for the one with the best Bruce Banner. That strain literally changed my life.

Yeah, no way I was just going to go and expect to survive from growing weed. The funny thing is, I have a BS in biology, with an ecology/evolution background. My independent research was on insects and plants, so I spent a lot of time in the greenhouse. I kinda think my life is coming full circle where hopefully I can once again put my degree and college skills to use one day there.
Housing and food is gonna be expensive that I know, but I'm a pretty good cook and know how to budget my groceries. They should teach that in art school lol.

Yeah, the scenery was beautiful. So much sky, being from NYC don't see too much of it. Some beautiful rocks too. Also love how there are cherry blossom trees everywhere too. BTW- I'm into oriental art so rocks, waves and cherry blossoms do it for me.
The week I was there I got to experience all four seasons it was pretty crazy. I flew back on the Monday after that weekend snowstorm from not too long ago. Earlier that week it felt like summer.

I haven't seen any Bruce Banner around in a while. It was all the rage a few years ago.

Wouldn't mind a BB#3 cut, myself.

Welcome to Colorado! The Green Solution dispensary has Bruce Banner. They're ok, buy they have all their flowers in pre packaged containers.
As for a clone of it-LaConte's Clone Bar says they have it.

Good luck! If you want to check out a Colorado outdoor grow for info check out my blog. I'm going to try and get a Bruce Banner to grow big.

Exactly I Ran nothing but Bruce for a while talkn whole rooms she's a great cut breeze to trim too great yield of grade A nugs the market was just so saturated here with subpar and knockoffs that the name alone made her sit on shelves. I keep her around ash she is a big part of my favorite strain and my longest project she adds a lot to a x for sure
