I have a single Mac Dragon Fem in my closet tent that I wanted to share. This is the second time I’ve run this strain, and it’s killer. Easy, fairly light feeder and seems to take everything in stride. Topped once and trained. Transplanted from 1G to 7G a few days before flip. Probably could’ve defoliated and pruned the lowers a little more, but I’m superstitious and it makes me feel anxious when I do it. I’m getting better about it with every grow.

7g pot, roots organic lush soil with some Gaia Green top dressings (about 1/2 tbs/week starting at flip) and a compost tea shortly after flip. This plant was flipped on Dec 27 and took a good week or so to fully enter flower. Which makes this the beginning of week 3. 11/13 light schedule. 72*F, 50-55%RH, MH FC3000 at 50%

Is anyone else working with limited space and trying to slam pack a 2x2? Share about it here!

I’m working with limited space but mine is more of a height restriction. So I tried to run my main stem around the edge of the pot during veg and I topped and scrog. I also flipped on the 27th but somehow I’m beginning of week 5 lol I started counting on the 27th. Either way yours is looking nice. Here’s a few pics bottom pic is a little older but it shows the stem and how it kind of coils.

That looks fantastic. I grew out a couple of Cinderella Jack autos that I tried to spiral the stem like that. They didn’t look as good as yours lol. I usually start counting weeks in flower when I see pistils start forming the beginning of flowers. It’s usually anywhere from a week or two from flip depending on strain and environment. I’m still new, so I could be doing it wrong. Here’s an up skirt pic of mine currently. Gotta love the angle. This one is a week or so old also.

Gotcha so I’m really probably beginning of week four. Which kinda sucks lol now it’s a longer wait than I thought. And thanks I was hoping to get more of a wider circle but I was to impatient and wanted to see how it looked standing up so I stopped sooner than I should’ve. But it seams to be the perfect height for my room. I guess I’ll see in the next few weeks. I can’t go any higher with my lights but I might be able to drop the plant an inch or two if necessary. I would normally say good luck on your grow but it doesn’t look like you need it. Keep it up.

Yeah I’d probably say you’re between week 3 and 4 depending on the plant. It’s all good though because those flowers are looking pretty nice for their age. You should be done stretching now so height restrictions be damned. I have my light as high as I can get it too and I’ve been just letting her grow up into it for the last couple weeks. Seems to be working.

A little update on the dragon. I found a few bananas, so I just plucked em. Been keeping an eye out for more. So far I’ve found about 10-20 total in the last week. All very small and hopefully not too damaging. We shall see. If I had to guess the cause, I’d say intense light. I have a new light this run, so I’ve been experimenting with it. I’ll try to dial in for the next grow.

I also did some defoliation to open up the colas to more light. While I was gently pulling one of the top colas down to tie it off I heard and felt a thud…..uuugghhhhh!! The worst! I split the stalk right at the top where I topped it. I tied it together and threw some black electrical tape around it. Gonna ride this baby out for another three or four weeks and hopefully get a nice harvest. Just like nothing ever went wrong!

I just discovered that the dehumidifier I’ve been using in this tent has a small green LED inside of it that shines through a translucent piece on the front. Why in the world would Vivosun make a product with lights that shine through??? No wonder I have bananas mid flower. I put the dehuey in there as soon as I saw some bud formation to maintain RH. The light shines through the back of the device also. Son of a bitch. I’ve had this thing for over a year and used it in a different grow in a 4x4x7 tent with no issues. Ultimately my own fault for never checking it after lights out, or reading up on it. Live and learn.

Cruising along in the closet tent. I figure I have at least two weeks left, maybe more. The bananas have calmed down, I’ve probably picked 5 or so out in the last week. We’ll see if she’s been pollinated after harvest. Getting a bit of an early fade. I probably could’ve done the top dressing a little differently, but that’s ok. This plant has a bunch of tops, so I could’ve been a little more heavy handed with the feeding. Which is the exact opposite of the last run, so I was being cautious. I’ve learned a lot these last couple grows. Based on what I’ve learned watching others on this forum, I’m gonna focus a little more on defoliation and picking budsites for the next run. That combined with getting the organic feed right will help smooth things out a lot.

Getting close. These nugs are rock solid and really frosting up. Mostly cloudy with some clear and a few amber. Im thinking I’ll keep an eye on things and cruise along for another week or so most likely. She’s still throwing white pistils, but the last MD I ran did the same thing the whole way through.

Watching Trichomes. Hopefully she’ll get the axe in the next week. Really looking forward to this, it’s gassy!

I’ll post some pics when she’s dried before she goes in the grove bags. High hopes for this one!

I hit 25% thc on this strain so she is pretty potent. I have not had a chance to post that report yet but I will soon.

Hell yeah. She knocked me on my ass last time I ran her and I chopped earlier than this time. Thanks for sharing the results, I was curious what the % might be.

Good luck with the pic of the month, you have my vote!

3.8 oz total bud. Not too shabby for a 2x2 organic grow. That might decrease slightly, but not too much. They sweat it out in a paper grocery bag for a couple days after a 6 day dry. Best I can do in my environment. Threw them in a 1/4lb grove bag last night and it was sitting at 61% this morning. If it’s still in that neighborhood after work I’ll heat seal it and forget about it for a month or so. I’ll post some pics of the cured nugs when I take them out of the bags
