Hello everyone,
I figured I’d post some pics of my recent mini closet grow. I live in the coastal southeast, and the weather isn’t friendly to summer garage grows. Too hot and humid, and I haven’t dialed in a space in my non air conditioned garage yet. So for now I’m growing one plant at a time in a 2x2 tent in my closet.
My latest adventure was a single Mac Dragon Fem from DFG. I had to try this out based on what I’ve heard about the breeder. Im a novice hobbyist and still learning. I hope you all enjoy, and please feel free to provide feedback and constructive criticism.
Seed dropped 8/1/2022
Blue fluorescent in small starter pot with starter soil
Week 3 transplant into 1g of roots organic Lush soil that I watered in my garage for a month with molasses and fish shit, with a little recharge every now and then. HLG 65 at about 18” 18/6 schedule
Topped week 4, scrog attempt, very little defoliation.
Week 5 transplant into 7g pot of Roots Organics Lush Soil (same batch)
Week 6/7 flipped. 11/13 schedule 72*F 50%RH throughout grow. Wanted to try 11/13 and cold temps to bring out color of the strain and shorten flower by a week or so. HLG 100 at about 18” and kept there. Plant grew into it. Attempted scrog, kinda worked but not a perfect example!
Harvest 11/13/2022
Net dry 54gr top shelf solid frosty as fuck bud, about 1oz of trim and popcorn. Hoping to get the dry and cure right this time (my biggest struggle).
2 weeks into cure. Tester smokes nicely, very piney/pinesoley taste, still a little green tasting, but blazed up nice and gets me wrecked. Super dense and frosty. Great bag appeal. I’ve already started a second Dragon in the mini tent. Genetics are strong
