Until I can attach a orange flag to plant #2 which I now call terd ferguson - i was curious is this would be caused by me and stress or is it genetics?

Seeing how healthy that leaf looks, probably just a simple mutation. I wouldn't worry about it

Plants do that when they're anxious about something. Were you discussing harvesting while tending your plants? That upsets them. Another thing they're worried about is inflation. Just the other day one of mine was crying about the Fed raising interest rates again. I had to chop her. I hear enough of that shit, I don't need it while tending the garden.

I wouldn’t worry about it. It could be either or both reasons. Mine does the same thing when not perfectly happy. I get either 3 fingers or 3 fingers & the little one like yours.

Still smoke & taste fine.
