I just watered my first plant like usual. I don't water with schedule but I try to weight the pot and feel if the soil is dry or moist.

Like many times before I weighted the pot and it felt very light (actually much lighter than on previous times I have watered).
The soil felt very dry also, first 1 - 1Ā½" was dry and below that only very slightly moist.

I watered her exactly like before, slowly with 3L water and got some runoff. Just like 10 times before this. But this time 30 minutes after watering her she looks really wilted, like she was watered too soon.

Any ideas what's going on?

This is right before I watered her:
Before

And here she is 30 minutes after watering.
Did i just overwater her please help 2

Looks like youre probably in soil. The droop in this case is a good sign, it means you got the water nice n deep like lol watch over the course of the next day, if she keeps drooping more and more then you might worry a little, but even then i wouldnt worry. Over watering is (most of the time) caused by watering too frquently rather than giving too much water at one time. You have a fabric pot, at least it looks like one, so your drainage SHOULD be fine.

Looks like a very happy plant to me dude! I wouldnt change anything in your case righmeow

Thank you for reassuring info! It indeed is soil (peat moss with 35-40% petlite) in fabric pot. I will follow her closely.

Droop after watering is pretty common, especially in certain types of media.
Thank you! I had no idea this was a common thing. This was actually the first time I had the opportunity to observe her after watering. I usually have watered her right before I leave for work and have seen her only 7-8 hours later.

Nice! Yea id keep an eye on her until tomorrow. You should see her perk back up :)

How often do you water? I havent grown in that exact medium so im not sure how well it retains water. It could possibly be retaining a bit too much? But to me, the plant looks happy

At first it required watering evey 4 or 3 days but nowadays as she has grown the pit gets very light in 2 days. I have been watering her every two days for couple of weeks.. but not by schedule, but on how light the pot was.

Yeah, Light Mix has organic amendments. Worm castings in particular hold onto water pretty hard.
I'm a newbie, is that a good or a bad thing? (I apologize for my ignorance) šŸ˜„ The water retaining of worm castings I mean.

Worm castings are a great organic source of nitrogen. Adding them to a mix increases water retention, so you water less frequently than you would with straight peat or coco, for example.

She looks much better now. Even stretched at least couple of inch taller during the night.
Gave me a scare but seems it was just a normal thing for her to do.

Better
