Did i lose a top?

So I started a few strains...I stressed them with a little too much light but I have noticed that 1 of the seedlings(romulan), dosent have a top... anyone else see anything like this... the top was never picked or anything... I'm curious if it will sprout new nodes or not

I've had that happen a couple of times. Once it branched out from the lower nodes, another time the leaves got huge and the top eventually started growing again. I imagine this happened for different reasons each time.

The one that eventually started growing again was a loser of a plant.
