Yeah that's why I was wondering myself if it was in pre-flower because it looks like there are ALOT more pistils than there were just 3 days ago. The strange shape could be just the way I LST'ed her, bent all her branches over and spaced them out so they can all get more sunlight, but I'll admit I'm not sure if I did it entirely correct, kinda looks like a ribcage at the moment lol hopefully will fill out bushier now.Could be pre flowering.depends on the strain. Now Its early for flowering on the most places but it could be something faster.Lots of pistils.I wouldn't top anymore just in case......It will grow somehow. To me it looks kinda strange shaped?!:)
Thanks! it's nothing fancy, just the camera on my phone (galaxy A20) with my jewelers loupe magnifier placed over the lensVery beautiful shots. Can I find out which camera you are using?
See I thought so too, based on her current age I figured she would start flowering around August but like you said could be the strain and since idk what strain it is guess I will have to really watch her and see what she starts doing. She is growing almost an inch per day as of right now.A bit early for pre flower, but hey its a girl, it could be the strain as some are much faster than others.
Agree with the strange shape that was my first impression, looks kind droopy like it's chronically dry or something of the sort, haven't quite put my finger on it? Whereas most first-timers tend to overwater I wasn't going to say anything until I saw your comment that it looked a little offCould be pre flowering.depends on the strain. Now Its early for flowering on the most places but it could be something faster.Lots of pistils.I wouldn't top anymore just in case......It will grow somehow. To me it looks kinda strange shaped?!:)
I'm sorry I swear I thought I responded to this but don't see my response anywhere so here goes lol. I believe my weird shape is because of how I did my LST perhaps? All side branches are splayed out kinda like ribs, and the main stalk is honestly looking like a game of snake up then 90 right, up then 90 left then up again. Gotta be a better way than that but was the only way I saw to keep the main 2 future colas from over shadowing the side branches was to LST them back across the center stalk. I have also now topped every branch and the main stalk twice for 4 main colas now. The droopiness i believe may be because the pics are being taken at night when the leaves aren't stretching for the sun? Most days I leave for work before sunrise and I'm home after sunset. The few times I have been to check them during the day they look much perkier. As for the medium it's a 70/30 mix FFOF/perlite in a 7 gallon pot. When i water i alternate one watering around the base to make sure she is getting enough with the heat(90+) and the next i go around the edge of the pots to make the roots stretch for the water. I water them with a 1/2 gallon of water every 3-4 days, using a mixture of knuckle depth moisture and pot lift to judge if she needs more. The photos I'm posting now are from tonight, only 3 days since my original photos. The only thing I've done differently is that I upped the calmag per gallon to 5ml from 3ml. I'm still using 3ml flora-micro and 3ml flora-gro. Can that 2 ml increase really cause that much of a growth explosion or is that much growth pretty normal wether I increased or not?Agree with the strange shape that was my first impression, looks kind droopy like it's chronically dry or something of the sort, haven't quite put my finger on it? Curious as to the medium, and are you watering it all or just around the stalk?

Unfortunately I had to cut my losses with her this weekHows she looking now?
Sorry to hear that mate, im doing my first outdoor run and I'm hoping she makes it to the finish line, outdoor is pretty stressful cause so much is out of our controlUnfortunately I had to cut my losses with her this week. She was doing great, had about another week before starting 2 week flush for harvest...then the rains came. 7 days of rain, with 90°+ temps AND over 90% RH not only gave a rapid onset of bud rot, but also made her herm like crazy, between the 2 there was nothing I could do to save her. But I have a white widow and a northern lights I've started INSIDE in my grow closet that are doing nicely. I think the area I live is just too hard to grow completely outside due to climate and weather, at least for a new grower like myself. Just sucks that I poured over 5 months of work and love into her to be destroyed by nature in just a weeks time.
