Did we mess up our first harvest??

We are currently doing our first harvest. These were grown outside, unfortunately I'm not sure what strain it is. To me these buds seem to be very heavy on the sugar leaves and way to fluffy. I will say they are very saturated with tricomes. I can barely get through a bud without having to clean my scissors. I'm not sure if I am being over critical, if it's a strain thing or if we messed up. We did test a bit, it knocked me on my ass but it's also been a long time since I've climbed that ladder haha. Thanks for any advice!!

Buds look great. Could be the strain. Could be weather related. Maybe both. Looks like you did a great job.
