im planning on running sour strawberry kush outdoor this year, so i started some of the seeds that i got from the bog's at the htcc last month. i have 3 ssk's above ground and three more on their way. i also started some of the sour bubble seeds and so far only 1 has broke ground but the others are close behind. i plan on vegging the sb outdoors this year to get her nice and big to be able to take lots of clones from her to run indoors. im loving the short flower times with no lack of quaility, and thats what i want to fill my room with. ill have pictures in a minute, and plan on doing a complete detailed grow this run. i want to thank the BOG'S for all their hard work and dedication to this plant and sharing quaility genetics. thanks digdug!!

2 of the 3 ssk's that have broke ground look very similar while the 1 looks much shorter,. stouter, and slower. it also has darker leaves, and looks more crinkled. they are still seedlings, and i have 3 more germinating right now. 1 sour bubble is already short, stout, and ready to go. it came up much quicker then the others and looks very healthy. im going to get a new phone tonight and will be taking lots of pictures and uploading them. thanks, digdug!!

Sour Strawberry has three main phenotypes. The very stout one has been called the "OG" type and sometimes they don't have much strawberry smell but it's very good.

The other two are a bit more sativa sided and have long finger leaves that become quite identifiable and one yields big!

My goal with the strawberry in crossing to sour bubble and bx crossing to SB was to tighten the buds and to increase potency. This project has been a huge success making the Strawberry one of my best sellers.

I guarantee your satisfaction. I hope you know why. :)

It's because I want to be your seed man. ;). Bog

Not much dirt in those cups...why don't you have them full?

Doing a transplant in a short while?

They look like SSK and they are healthy but the tap root probably already hit bottom.

This year my outdoor will be in containers, shallow wide containers. Im in the process of cooking some soil for them now. The ssk seedlings will be 2 weeks old in a couple of days and I will transplant to 1 gallon grow bags. Only 2 of the 3 that were behind these made it above ground. Still good germ rate with 5 of 7 making it above soil. Im happy with that. One of the ssk seeds was huge, I thought for sure twins, cause it was odd shaped too. Only one big healthy seedling. The sour bubbles ive started are doing well but are still small seedlings. 4 above soil with 1 about a week ahead of the other 3. I messed up and used a papertowel that I dont normally use and only 1 of 5 germed. So I switched back and got 3 of 4 to pop. So we have 5 ssk's and 4 sour bubbles. And im happy with that. There are still 4 sb beans left in the bag and 5 ssk's to pop. Thanks for reading, digdug!!

Lots of people are getting twins from my seeds but don't be disappointed if you don't. They are still fairly rare. Often one is a runt with twins anyways. ;)

One gallon grow bags will be fine for a transplant and they will like some more room to root.

Good Luck! :). Bog

thet start out at 3/4 full, and by the time i water a few times it settles at about 5/8 full. i dont let the roots circle the bottom of the cup at all. if i were running in the ground i would start in different containers, my finish containers will be 12" tall and i havent layed out the garden outdoors yet so the width and length havent been determinded. im splitting the outdoor section in half so i can black out one half while the other half gets light. im busy building all this now and i got to get back too it. ill take pictures when done, thanks digdug!!

I transplanted the first three ssk's into their new homes today and they are loving the sun! The ssk monster seedling's cotyledon leaves are huge, much bigger then any other seedling I can remember. Here it is next to another ssk of the same age. @bog I filled the cups up all the way this round:), and the 3 in the bags are getting a layer of mulch so they will be full too! Thanks digdug!!

They look nice. May I ask why your going to put a layer of mulch in the bags?
Thanks.

I run recycled organic living soil. the Top mulch layer is a barrier between the living soil and the outside elements. It protects the microbeasties, gives them a breathable roof. In the summer I freeze compost tea into ice cubes and place on top of mulch layer on hot days, it helps cool the plant and feed it as well. Lots of benefits to running mulch on organic soil. My damn dog broke into my area last night and grabbed my smallest sour bubble and a 501'st og cup and made them his!!!!!! Arrrrggggg!!!!! Ok so it was my fault for not locking the door. And thats what im working on today. Busy, busy, busy, digdug!!

i decided to start the rest of my sour bubble seeds because, my dog ate one, a couple didnt germ, and im going to the sf cup, and i will be visiting BOGS booth again. so i put the last 4 into a wet paper towel and all 4 sprouted. i will put them straight into 1 gal bags this time, no red cups. the score board reads::: 5 ssk's , and 7 sb's. also our puppy just met his handler/trainer yesterday, and maybe, together we can train him to not be a gardener!! lol.. ill snap pictures this weekend. thanks digdug!!

Well I have to move again. The owner of the house is selling the property and our lease is up june 30th. I dont know where we will end up, but we will make it work. Ive been working lately, first time since my heart attack, and I havent paid close attention to my plants. Ive had to move them around a lot for security reasons. Its been a real pain in the ass. So all my shit is getting cloned and down sized. All my seedlings will be vegging in containers. The ssk's are doing amazing, despite the troubles ive Givin them. Im letting them mature a little more before I take more pictures. Ill know more later, thanks. Digdug!!
