Thanks for your suggestion. I have raised my PH to around what you have suggested. I was trying to give low Ph because the cheap PH meter I use for soil shows completely different in my soil than what I thought I was feeding. I am also just trying to balance distilled water with pH down most of the time then PH up when I give too much, minimal nutrients here and there. I started with Fox Farms Ocean soil, pearlite and Mico. Just started to use the chart and give a third or less of what is suggested. I introduced some Calmag in the past but didn't see much of a difference. I also sprinkled in some crushed up sterilized egg shells. No clue if that is helpful at all. I believe at this point it hurts more than it gains when I read too much and watch too many videos.

Second the PAR meter but you can get one for under $200. Mine is rechargeable using USB. Invaluable once you get it.

My bad I didn’t mean this in a bad way

Also while the above is correct

A led from a remote or camera is just so minuscule….not saying it can’t have an affect just it’s negligible as fuck.

Can use the cheap smartphone PPFD apps for an “idea”

Got ya. I am new to this and pretty much freaked for no reason. It's probably going to take this grow and possibly another one to learn these things. Thanks for your feedback man. For real.

Frickin sweet... Any suggestions on keepin humidity down? I am about mid flour now. Have a bitch of a time regulating humidity. Small tent so I can only control air going in.

Honestly, you might have to get a little dehumidifier, not too sure.

Otherwise, not a whole lot besides moving air around, maybe hanging up a dry towel, what’s the outside humidity like?

Easier to add moisture to the air then take it out without a device. Afaik

Not that I’d advise it, but yeah a scenario like that pic above isn’t really going to have any negative affects. For example.

Not saying it can’t AT ALL just that it wouldn’t matter more than likely.

I run a 50 gal dehumidifier on the outside of the tent. Dump the water 2 times a day now. I don't have room inside my tent to run anything. Very small tent single plant. I want to be able to drop down to under 40% humidity and raise it when I need to do so because I have a inside humidifier. I can put humidity when I need my problem is I can't lower it.

Is it just me or does it seem like some growers just HAVE to watch these plants 24/7 at the risk of ruining the entire batch of flowering plants, wow, maybe its me but i have never even considered installing a camera inside a grow room to watch my plants during their downtime. Sometimes i think most of the problems people encounter are just a result of the constant fiddling around, they are weeds for gods sake, they will grow. not being critical, i do remember my first few grows, I would spend hours outside in my patch, trimming a yellowing leaf here, topping for the fourth time there. top dressing the plants with dolomitic limestone and watering with manure tea five times a day.. of course I totally forgot and neglected the REALLY important stuff, like making sure the area I picked got sun for the four months I needed, it didn't, and my plants were totally shaded for the last two months of the grow, or making sure the corn borers were not eating my plants from the inside out, they were and I lost over half of them. but live and learn i guess.

Your light leak is no big deal. These plants are very resilient. Don't stress.

If you aren't under the constraints of a trellis or screen you may want to try bottom watering. I do this for all of my potted plants along with my girls and they love it!

I use a 5 gallon bucket with nutrient solution and just dunk the pot into the water and let the soil wick up the water in the bucket. You want to put around half the bucket under water making sure you don't overflow the 5 gallon bucket and wait for pot to start to slowly lower into the nutrient solution as the soil sucks up the water. Sometimes you need to help it along by submerging it at the soil line but for the most part it will do it on it's own if you're patient.

Doing this will keep your leaves dry keeping disease and pests away and will fully moisten the entire media in the pot. It will also alleviate "salt towers" that form after repeated waterings that find the easiest path down to the bottom of the pot and build up nutrient salts to toxic levels.
