It will take a run or 10 to build the experience needed. Read a lot and take notes on your grows.
Yeah but it's only 20x40 inches100cm is 39.27 inches. How many people achieve more than a pound in a 3x3? How long you gonna veg?

No idea about how you can do that in a small space, but I suggest that you "practice" flowering on a single plant (or up to 3)..to get a feel. Here's a plant that ive been growing in a cardboard under 250w cfl for 4 weeks with lst and topping . Not planning on flowering it before i get a respectable room, maybe keep it as a mother if i make sure its a female in a fee more weeks. View attachment 925265I
Just got back from the carpenter, the room that is within my budget is 60cm depth, 150cm width, 200cm height. The 1m deep will cost way over my budget. No idea about how you can do that in a small space, but I suggest that you "practice" flowering on a single plant (or up to 3)..to get a feel.
You will find that flowering is way different than vegging, which is usually very easy.
All sorts of things can rear their heads in flower..over/under watering, over feeding, underfeeding, ph problems; not to mention that there are some strains that can just be difficult to either clone or grow. ie: if I want to clone a Gorilla pheno; I take double the number of cuts that I normally would take. I find that I lose a bunch initially, and some just stay "not to my liking" and are culled.
In veg with a photo, if we mess up..they can and usually will recover. In flower, if they recover, they could be stunted and slowed by any measurable stress (hermies happen)
Good luck and do enjoy whatever you grow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
