Hey mate don’t have to bin the plant, unless you are certain and they keep growing fast I had the same thing and after investigating noticed I had 2 bright leds ruining night period, Fan speed controller and power strip button..

I pulled all the balls and it grew some more but they turned into flower sites..that looked like balls.. now she’s massive and I don’t bother looking as much

Haha. Keep stating your opinion with no evidence. Those are all personal experiences. Sorry about your luck. I have yet to have a hermie plant.

Its not my opinion if breeders are selling and breeding from hermied seeds, which they openly admit.

GSC came from a hermied cherry Kush plant (fact). The seeds should have been thrown away not used to start a new line.

Like I said previously, the cheeky bastard calls the seeds “fortune cookies”. No doubt because anytime he gets a hermie he sells the seeds for $$$.

In the short time USA seed companies have been around, they have fucked everything up. That’s why no one from the rest of the world wants their seeds, and Dutch breeders won’t send their seeds to the USA. Apart from barneys farm and dog shit like that.

The Dutch spent years perfecting and stress testing their strains. Americans have a plant hermie, and instead of throwing it away, they pack and sell the seeds. It’s a total shit show and the prices are hilarious.

Mate I'm in the same boat. Grew from seeds that I had in my bud last year. My biggest plant hermied HARD during a week that I was away. Came home to find pollen sacs everywhere. I feel your pain :( I'm now looking up if I can make weed butter with a male lol.

Yours look waaaaaaaaaay more female though. I don't think one or two sacs will impact it much. Mine is... all sacs lol

I'm only seeing this on one of the plants out of 4 so far. However, the plant that shows it is growing the strongest, so the others could be close behind. :-(

I took all the plants out today to do a dunk bottom feed and checked for any male sacks. So, I'm confident it's just the one and so far, fingers crossed, I only see 2 maybe 3 sacks total on that plant.
I'm just going to keep an eye on them. I want to pluck them off but am worried it will stress the plant...

You can pluck them off if you’re sure it’s a female going hermie. Keep an eye on them. Happy grows.

Some of the best buds I've ever grown were from fem seeds. Gl just be careful and if they Herm, don't use the seeds.

So, I pulled one of the sacks off and tried looking at it more closely..

When I squeezed the bottom, this is what fanned out from inside.

If you see female flowers and then those little sacs that’s when you know it’s a hermie. If all you see if sacks, well then it’s a straight male with no female traits. Just watch your plants.

So, decided to do a deep dive into each plant and find any sacks.

Only 1 plant has sacks that I could find and the total number of sacks was 5. They never grew into full sacks and none popped so I went ahead and licked the fingers and pulled them all off. Will keep an eye out for any more than show up.

Now... If more show up should I just dump the plant since none of the other 3 show any sign of sacks?

I don't want to ruin 3 other plants due to 1. :-( decisions decisions...

The Dutch won't send their seeds to the USA because of legal issues , do you actually believe the Dutch would forgo profit because of moral concerns about who's growing their holy seeds ? That's ridiculous.........

And half of the famous " Dutch " genetics began elsewhere , like blueberry , bubblegum , and diesel ......

You just be hatin on USA , we grow some of the best herb on planet herb......

The original GSC came from a hermied plant. The breeder says as much. That’s why so many crosses popped up over night, which were mostly accidental hermies.

That’s the problem with America. It’s too commercial. Anything for a quick buck.

I never had a plant hermie in over 20 years until I tried a OGC strain. No work is put in to breeding or stabilisation. They just call it something new when a plant hermies.

The original GSC “breeder” calls seeds “fortune cookies”. I call him a cheeky bastard.

When I say “Cali” I’m referring to American strains. 99% are hermie shit.

Well you must not be in Cali because if you were you would know that most everything in the golden state comes from cuts not seeds.

I don’t hate the USA. I visit San Diego most summers and the bud is great. Just a shame so many have hermie traits and when you grow it, you get a shit ton of seeds.

Its the fact that I like so many USA strains that pisses me off with the hermie situation.

USA “breeders” that have popped up out of nowhere aren’t breeding shit. They’re selling seeds from accidental hermies. That takes the piss. Nothing to do with hating the USA.

Just under half your population hates your president, do they hate the USA?

Well some probably do. It’s sad what cnn, identity politics and social media have done to the USA in such a short time. You’re almost as bad as Europe now.

Dude there are “breeders” from all over the world breeding bullshit genetics. Understanding some of the best strains came from accidental pollinations, it’s just the way it is. Your claim is complete bullshit brotha. And you keep repeating yourself. So please. Let’s see a diary of your killer Dutch grows.
