I'm the type of person who would overwater the plant so I've always used automation and never had issues. Now however my automation malfunctioned and looks like I managed to pump around 20L to three eleven-liter pods... Water had gone through and planting pods were sitting in a pool of water when I found them.

I drained the pool out but think I've now effectively flushed my plants that just starting to flower.

Should I just wait and continue normal watering once the soil is dry or add extra nutrients or something?

Leaves are drooping a bit but else all three plants look fine the water was leaking out of the pods so they are not drowning anymore but we maybe about 20 - 24 hours.

I would wait for the soil to dry out if its excessively wet, then resume watering as normal.

Yes, the soil is definately excessively wet even if the soil is drained out. So is the tent because water was on the floor of it. Moisture was near 100% but has dropped to 69% by now.

I use my own compost I use in the garden as well it holds water much better than shop soils but here that might not be such a good thing. There is a bit of cocoa mixed in so it does drain but its a lot denser stuff than most here we would likely use.

This will be likely my last tent growth unless I want to do anything during winter but I will try something heat-resistant outdoors next summer. I'm in Andalucia so basically SolCal type weather so gonna check what grows well there.

You can aerate the soil with something long and thin to add a bit more oxygen into the soil. Other wise its a waiting game I think, maybe setting them on something absorbant like a towel would pull some more moisture out. If its an option putting them in the real sun and wind would likely speed up drying.

I'm in a similar region in the mountains outside of Bakersfield. What awesome weather this year... right?? I would consider mixing some perlite into your mixture to help with drainage.

I've grown Le Silver Royale, Bear Dance, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blue Cheese, LSD, and SSH all in autos out here with great success.

I got mine from Barney's. I guess the first run was so good a year ago that I'm going back after this cycle. I've heard tons of people who bounce from strain to strain but I prefer to stick with one strain and focus on growing it really really well. I'll be sticking to LSD indoors and running Ayahuasca Purple in the summers outdoors.

So an update they didn't die but instead stretch like crazy. I'd say light is shit(it is actually) but I've grown the same fat banana autos with no issues before.

This lady is now 160 tall and doesn't fit to my grow room. Didn't stop for 2 nets and cut of main steam and it just made 4 new ones.

One next to it is around 120cm which where they usually get.

Next time
mix 40% top soil sand and pea gravel per bag of FF strawberry fields or what grow medium you choose .
Your grow medium is most likely all bagged compost/organic matter.
Its soaks up water like a sponge.
Poking holes in the grow medium to gain better drainage .. maybe poke sand in the hole.

plant that size not yet flowering is most prolly not an auto but a photoperiod, how old since germination ?

39q days(i plant directlyto pot and date is whe I actually see the plant so lets say 41-42 since germination).

You might be right. I have some feminised photo period fat banana seeds as well and might have messed up but I think this is starting to flower and there been no adjustment on lighting.

I move light literally to roof of the tent gives me another 20cm but then it's bit far for the normal size one and I might need to move this monster outside but not sure it makes it there.

I live in Andalusia, south of Spain and this time of year afternoon temp is hitting 38 - 40. 100-104F for those who follow different measurements.

well after 42 days it could show some pre-flower even in veg, but if it's not actively throwing calyx and pistil with the tops then it's not flowering and i'd switch to 12/12

you can always top and work with some of the lower branches and veg a little afterward to strenghten them, and/or hst

Howdy and welcome to the Farm!

Just a little clarification as I feel this is a very common misconception for new(er) growers -

Overwatering is not watering too much at once, it's watering too often. These plants like plenty of oxygen at the root level. Watering too often and not allowing time to dry out a little in between leads to root rot and other root zone pathogens and problems.

That being said, it sounds like you're doing fine. I wouldn't worry too much.

Btw. You were right. Thanks! Ended up with a nice Harvest from that one. A random Dutch guy gave(not angry as it was given not bought) me the auto seed that wasn't auto. Had to deal with the fact that the other one was smaller (the actual auto) and didn't like the light change and its buds stopped growing in size but the larger one gave me massive buds once flowering.

It ended up taking my entire tent so that I zip-tied lights directly to the roof tent but Harwest turned fine.
