Good afternoon everyone. I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me out with.

I have grown my plants from seeds in “amended soil”. They started in sole cups in late April indoors. They were transplanted to 1 gallon pots, then 2 gallon pots and finally into 5 gallon cloth pots.

I have topped them twice. I’m in southern Ontario so they will finish flowering in early October.

I’m concerned that they don’t have enough room anymore in the 5 gallon pots. Since I’ve topped a few times, my main stems are thicker than any plant I’ve grown before.

I fertilize once a week and I water once every three days, depending on weight.

The soil pulls away from the sides of the pots when it is dry.

Thoughts. Thank you.

I personally think our door plants need much bigger pots. Outdoor I like 20 gallon pots or bigger..I also don't really like fabric pots outside, they dry out way to fast where I live, plus every time you move them you disturb the roots. I am in Colorado though. Much different weather than you

Put em in the ground/bed or use air pots, figure the plant should never be 2x+ the size of the container, with air pots you can have 10 footers in 1 gal but more medium is always better
