Now or when it's dry?I circled a spot on the magnified picture where bud coloration appears to be different. Pull on one of the leaves in that area. If it comes free from the plant easily and has some of the bud attached to it, its likely rot.
Another big cause of it is caterpillars burrowing into a bud! What causes rot? I know about Mold. ??
interesting just learned something cool TYAnother big cause of it is caterpillars burrowing into a bud!
Rotted material will be mushy!
It's the same thing that rots your plant from the bottom up when the soil is too wet. Botrytis. It decomposes plant matter very quickly. The only time I ever saw bud rot was when I had caterpillars shitting in my colas. I'm in So Cal, we don't usually have RH high enough to cause issues drying. For me it's usually the opposite.. stuff dries too quick and I gotta slow it down. What causes rot? I know about Mold. ??
Yesyou have airflow in drying room?
