I can't find any reference to "purple gators" anywhere on the web. I got this from a local dispensary and it has a wonderful body high, like shock absorbers at my joints and just a comfy feel. They don't have any more and I'm not sure what it really is. I would grow it if I could find it. I don't know if a picture of a bud helps but here's one.

Comfy feels are the best.

No one can ID a bud by just a visual.

Look on the bag it came in, you will find the grower. Check out the grower's site. If they are strickly commercial, you may not be able to purchase directly.

If you find no info online about the strain, I'd say whoever grew it, created it.

That could be, I'll try to find some reviews on that. It's strong too, I should mention that. Strong but soft I guess is how i'd describe it if that even makes sense. There isn't a label back to the grower, they just wrote purple gators on the little plastic container.

Well best of luck my friend! Apparently that one is already hard to get your hands in, so you might be in for a journey here

I, personally, am not buying smoke from a shop that isn't listing the grower. If they roll like that, they should be able to tell you what strains make up the strain they are selling. A lot of information should be on a label from a shop though, not just who grew it.

Strong, but soft is a perfect description.

If all else fails, call them and ask or go down there if it's not a hassle.

Maybe it's Gatorbreath and the grower just renamed it. Or Gator Kush like Elbo said.

I can see why they called it purple gator if so, I hardly rely on a name with weed anymore. Seeds I bought I hope come out good but everything’s crossed.

So do you think this is saying that purple gator is another name for gator breath?

This is wild! I am the breeder of Purple Gators! My name is Brad Gardner. I own a nursery called Gardner Family Farms. The reason there is no information is because I released very few to large producers and preciously never advertised much at all. (Shame I know) The sad part is I never got recognition for the strain the owners of these large grows could care less about how much time and work was put into creating such a great plant! So here's her details. She is a potent cross of a select Gators Breathe male crossed to Forbidden Fruit. NONE of the phenos disappoint. I have an entire line of crosses to the gators breathe that came out incredible many have hit the market. I had lots of proven winners but people.wanted high thc. The gators breathe definitely provided that. I do currently have a website that is underway I would love to get these seeds out to people who actually support breeders. I am old school and have always kept to myself. 20 plus years. It's my own fault for not promoting myself as much but I'm going to do a better do of that going forward! I just got logged in so happy I stumbled across this post on Google. I was just searching to see what info may be out there regarding my crosses. I literally popped a new tray of those beans last night! . Sorry for the novel I'm excited and feel honored someone enjoyed my strain! I attempted to share a couple pics of some testers from first run. The were flowered in 4" square pots a little bigger than a coffee cup.

Good stuff Brad. Care to elaborate what kind of lineage ? Or details at all?

Because I too super confidentially created the same hybrid . What are the odds .

Truly .

I’m going to assume you may have been in the same seed collective I was in and got some of my genetics I shared and worked your own version ?

I’m giving Brad the benefit of the doubt here .

I authored this hybrid in Florida over a decade ago and shared my work globally under the umbrella of Humble Seeds. My goal was to preserve Bubba Kush in true seed form and I worked on Gator Kush for years. I still maintain the parent plants.

I’m thrilled to see my work shared and appreciated. Initially, I struggled with potency while starting from a true landrace to create an F1 hybrid. I won’t reveal the main lineage, but I do want to highlight the genetics that finally gave it the potency it needed, a strain worth preserving.

Herijuana was introduced in multiple ways, allowing me to maintain Gator Kush’s dominance and uniformity while adding incredible potency. At first, there were two barely visible phenotypes. After integrating Herijuana from multiple angles, I achieved an F1 with two distinct pheno types: the classic rainbow of colors throughout Gator, and a newer pheno with slightly muted colors but unique Herijuana traits.

My mission was to bring Bubba Kush back to its Florida roots in true seed form. I hope sharing this now helps others appreciate and preserve this lineage.

It has a dominant purple color and sweet flavor . I even worked a pheno type for arrousal using a well worked version of kc mango 33 which seems to have taken root as “gator breath”

— Denny Dank, Humble Seeds

Ps enjoy a photo of the blueprint mother.
