I don't know what is happening to my plants! Day temps are around 80-82 night temps are around 71-75
I have the OpticsLED 8+ cob light and I grow organic.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
My last plants before these did the same thing and I had to just rip them out. I don't want to do that to these.
They are currently in veg and I've been wanting to put them to flower but I'm scared they will only get worse.

I'm watching, but was too scared, to venture a guess. i suspect I'm about to learn something.
i think you'll b n great hands... especially, with diesel on board, already. take heart. and start givin up more readings/grow intel for em, like he said.
i think it's multiple. get close ups/macros, if u can, for em, since i saw mite, something, too (in responses)
you're cell might do it.
do u have a ph kit?
tds/ec? it's a start.

i hope that's a form letter, diesel.

5. What is your soil mix? •raised garden bed mix(don't hate me y'all)

7. What is the pH of your water? •around 6.5-6.6
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? •i haven't had to use any fertilizer.
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? •i mist them occasionally with pH'd water.
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") •OpticsLED Optic 8+ COB LED grow light 500w 3500k Cobs
11. How close are your lights to the plants? •almost two feet away from light
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? •4x4 grow tent
13. What is the temperature and humidity of your grow space? •daytime around 80. Nighttime lower 70's. Humidity ranges around 50-60%
14. What is the pH of the soil? •I'm not sure.
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? •I've noticed little tiny bugs under some of the leafs. They looked to be like spider mites. I bought diatomaceous earth but I have not dusted my plants with it yet.
16. How much experience do you have growing? •Not much, this is my second set of plants.

the little bugs are mites

buy some pelletized lime and top dress and water well because it looks like your PH is out of wack and using garden bed soil will do it.

I don't really have bug problems(probably came from your soil) so I am honestly not entirely sure what the best course there, neem helps but there are mites in colorado that will make a margarita with neem and laugh at you so I haven't bought neem in a while and just haven't had bugs in a while thank goodness.

before the big guns arrive- i tried the smothering I'd read about, with co2, ohhh... back when i thought a counter would b enough (autopilot reader... when i was too cheap to own a regulator n risked lives...) & just like the man said- they enjoyed the free buzz and laughed at me. so nix that one, but it was above 10k, for an hr. i believe i read 40k ppm, is the HUMAN, nono zone, but don't quote me. i, too, slashed n burned, that season. arrived on a clone, btw.

so- I'll p.m. a lil n not sully the page, but it's not THE solution.

re- the other msg- and truthfully, i forget which format these charts are for; so just know they exist for specific mediums.

the folks who do solve it for him, are likely to want his tds/ec values and ph of his medium. i believe the way YOU PEOPLE do this, is when feeding/"watering"- water til run off, if not flushing and i mean minimal so u don't send ur nutes, down river. suck up enough run off so u can shot glass it/whatever... and measure THOSE ph and ppm/e.c., values so you can hand em in, when the teacher, asks.

when some random, kisses u on the cheak... are u wearin lipstick? or just a kiss value, of skanky, evidence? so- as you feed the soil (don't start, u living soil, extremists! i may not b usin correct vocabulary for your sensitive natures, but he'll "get it"), you empart partial values (like the quarter on a beer bottle, in a t.j. club), to your medium... but mediums, too, can impart values to ph and ppm so think of it all as buffers... one might use water, ph'd, to 7... to buffer soil that's runnin a low ph, of say a 5.0... and that also doesn't mean it's gonna magically avg, at 6.0 (for argument's sake).

plus one, very informative tube vid.

Mites are the Borg! I would tear those infested plants down right now if they were mine. Somehow you've got to clean your room.

I suppose you can try spraying your plants to kill the mites but I think that's going to be harder to do with that level of infestation

I haven't battled mites since the mid-90s so you'll have to ask others what the best chemical sprays are, and you're going to need at least two of the most powerful to alternate treatments because the mites often become immune to just one

Ps. Neem oil doesn't work

D.E., did not help me. I'm with the greybushcomber. it's D.D.T., or it memorex'd.

and a lil closet napalm, never hurt anyone.

sorry, beach- i didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or b angry over mites so.... but very dramatic alliteration. it brought tears to my eyes, remembering both- sigh- the 90s, the mites and my own personal battle with those fargin bastages. sigh... well done. I'm with usedtocomb, though: all, or nada.
