Done with the 3 x 3 Gorilla

I've made my mind up. Done with the bastard sized 3' x 3' x 7'-11" Gorilla Pro. I'm going to get a 4' x 4' x 7'-11" Gorilla Pro for Christmas. So it will just be a tent change out. My HLG 650R, exhaust fan and trimmings will be just fine in a 4' x 4'. This 3' x 3' has had me regretting my choice since first grow in it. A answer to a question never asked type thing. Will do one more grow in it then move it along. The 4' x 4' will cramp up my office a bit but the 3' x 3' has to go! I like my 2' x 4' x 7'-11" tent much more than the near useless 3' x 3'. And if I didn't have the 650R already I would do another 2'x 4'. I'm glad I've made my mind up about this issue!

I scored on a used 5x5x8 ggt. I have no complaints. So I bought a ggt 2x2.5x6 a few weeks ago. So far I like it too. I got one of their grow lights for the 2x2 because it's seems to be the only 200w bar light. I have the 750w in the 5x5. Also no complaints....wait, it's only on/off compatible with my controller so that's small and the customer service is sort of bad. So 2 small complaints.

I would get a 5 x 5 but that would cramp my style to much for the extra room a 4 x 4 would give me over the gets on my last nerve 3 x 3. I could light a 5 x 5 with the 650R and if that's not enough I have two HLG 260's I could flank it with. I think the 4 x 4 paired up with the 2 x 4 will do a good job for me.

I loved my 4x4 but had room issues when i moved so i'm stuck with my 3x3 like yours. Huge difference your gonna love it.

Just a bad usage of space. It's cramped as soon as you put more than one plant in it. Two plants are basically as cramped as four small plants. It fits the room well and the space allocated to it. But after getting the 2 x 4 I saw the error of my choice big time. If I didn't have the 650R I would get another 2 x 4 and use my two HLG 260 Rspecs in it. 3 x 3 has been on my nerve since I got it.

I have 2 2x4 tents and a 5x5. I think I like the 2x4 better. The 5x5 the plants in the back are hard to take care of. I held the tent off the wall about 18” so I can get all the way around. But it is not comfortable back behind it.

For a couple of decades there was a 12' x 25' single car garage on this pad and my grow room was the lighter part of the concrete foundation. Which gave me a 10' x 12' grow room. And I kept my motorcycles and stuff in the 12' x 15' part of the structure. Then had a long carport semi closed in for the cars over the driveway and another structure off to the side for my truck. Then a storm got it all and made a mess out of it. So now it's my motorcycle shed and carport.

When the kids left home I put my grow room in the converted back porch of the house behind those windows in the pic. I put up a couple of false walls and foam boarded it out and had a good 10' x 15' room.

The lighter color concrete was the original grow room that the bikes parked on.

One thing led to another and I ended up in the current 12' x 14' room. I originally was going to put up a simple wall and have a 4' x 12' grow space in the room with the rest of the room being my office and shooting sports room. But I was working my ass off and heading toward retirement and just did not have the time to take on the project. I was gone at 6 am. and didn't get home until after 6 pm most days. And being not the least bit happy with the current state of affairs with the crap fufu weed now days I just put up the 3' x 3' tent for the love of the grow. I almost stopped growing over the shit they call weed now days. A buddy did not want me to stop growing and I had some folks wanting me to run there commercial grows. And I agreed to running a grow or two and possible investing in them if they went landstrain. So thats why I added the current 2' x 4' tent. Because I was doing some landstrain test grows and older hybrid strain test grows. Even converted the 3' x 6' x 9' closet for the room into a 2 level grow space to do some testing with small indicas and really cool spear bud plants that are naturally very small plants and have LSD and narcotic properties to them. Then we ran into issues with the stupid damn okies. Some real idiots in OKC. And all the china grows and out of staters flooding the state I pulled my funding and efforts from the commercial grow and testing build up. So that is how I have ended up with the two tents I have running right now. As it's been a slow down sizing over the years.

I've even thought about completely getting rid of the tents and putting a wall up with a partition and having two 4' x 6' grow spaces now that I have the time. But with my wifes health being a issue don't know if I want to do that. She is having more testing this week. So maybe we will know something by the end of the week.
