This stuff is coming along nicely. The ladybugs took care of the few aphids I found. The greenhouse burn is in constant effect. The crystal content is looking pretty good already.

I just picked up some kosher og from hprc in arcata. I heard that stuff is devastating. I'll plant them tomorrow

So here's the ladies at the end of week 4. They're coming along happily. Crystal content is very good. The little leaves are super frosty. I'm really liking the og bio war magic bullet. Keeps the plants green and always at attention. and the other one 2 weeks behind I bent the plants over in the first hoop house and trained them through trellis.
In the 2nd greenhouse I just left them upright and also used trellis. I want to see what's better for this strain .

Looking healthy, lush and stacked. Going to be quite frosty as well by the looks of it. Do you do two crops in a "normal" growing season? Or is it just tarps no lighting? Maybe just a stoned thought: If I wanted to grow certain strains outdoors(here in the NW) that usually wouldn't flower in time without massive fungal contamination (pm, botrytis) maybe using light dep with tarps to get a boost on the flowering, and ends up finishing in September. Interesting idea for my crop next year maybe.

Just tarps and no lighting. The Only lights are for veg and small at that.

Normal is subjective to conditions, global warming........ a good year is 2 deps plus a replant at the end.

Your idea abo u t depping early to finish long flowering strains is a legit one. With the prices dropping, sour d will probably disappear from out door gardens. It takes 50% longer finish and fetches the same price as 8 to 10 week strains. Then there's the mold and weather issues that come along with longer running strains. Last year my sour d got crushed by that typhoon . It was laid over , all in the same direction along with my ssh and other long runners. This year I can run a second dep , but won't because of the late bad weather.

Here's day 45 . The buds look good but are small. Thats why I've avoided growing cookie strains before , because I get nervous about the yield. I always wonder what I've done wrong. If they stay on the pace they've been on, I'll do ok. Constant new hairs and calyxes. The appearance is nice, super frosty and getting whiter everyday. The smell is very cookie like.
Whose grown out cookies before? Any advice or opinions?

here's day 52. This stuff will go to 70 at least. They description from midnight farms says 8 to 9 but I'm pretty sure this will go 10. the buds have really started to take shape. The temps at night have been dropping in to the mid to upper 40s. The plants In pots have turned purple from the cold as well. This stuff is beautiful. The smell is very cookie like. Sweet, minty and soft.

So for info on this strain : starting week 6 she starts to concentrate on
Flowering and finally put on weight. I'm in week 8 now and finally feeling better about the buds . Still a lot of small buds that are super dense

I've run the TM (Thin Mint) cut more than a time or 2 indoors. Cookies to my mind and skill level have never been huge yeilders. But the smoke when grown well is sublime. I would attirbute this to the sativa dom DB (durban poison) and the Kush genetics as a lot of kush hybrids aren't holy &&&& big gurls indoors in soil. YMMV on technigue and grow style............ My best Kush yielder was with Kaia Kush from Apothecary Seeds. Run in scrog.
A must have strain in any Kush lovers garden. Does not disappoint!!!

What kind of yield do you expect from that cookies? How big are "big buds" from cookies

Golfball would be nice with this stuff.
I went to a friend's house yesterday and saw the same stuff , started the same day flowering. I'm happy with my first attempt. I could get it dialed better for sure. I gave a huge mom of this stuff to a buddy for clones next time. The flowers are high quality, but the yield is low . Seems typical
