I'm building an auto drain set up using the bucket company ez-pz runoff trays.

Here is my question, How can the water reach the top of the pump if the pipes are 2-3cm of the floor? Gravity is not doing a good enough job here, It doesn't seem to have enough pressure or is there something i don't understand?

The most popular pump for draining seems to be the little giant condensate pump and the water intake is definitely higher than the pipes. The pump works like that: it fills up and after a certain height, it turns on automatically. Help me understand please, I can't understand what kind of pump i need and how it works.

You need to either raise up the drain trays or find a lower style pump. Have you looked at the bucket companies ez-pz runoff pump? I’m sure there own pump will work with there system. You can also look for condensation pump with side hole to run drain into or a lower profile condensation pump.

Don't know of this will help but I use a pump same design as this for my waste tub and it gets my water level down to about 1- 2cm

Is this an automatic on off version? If so I have had very poor luck with them not burning up the motor. If it’s just submersible pump then are you running off time? I have done that as well with good success other than the occasional overflow

It is not a automatic on off, I do it manually as I only feed 1- 2 times days and have a large waste tub. ( just DTW coco i do) just thought maybe its possible to ise in this situation aswell. you can always intall a float switch in the tub and conect the pump to that.

I looked into float switches and for the cost you can just buy a condensation pump for cheaper.

Ah yeah fair enough that makes sense then
For memory when I was looking I couldn't find very powerful condensation pumps and I needed to pump a fair distance, so opted for something similar to that picture
