Tootsie roll x Okie - 9 weeks flipped. She had some stretch but manageable, smaller but dense bugs and a bunch of them.
This is one of 2 that had spider mites. Tried to get a shot of the old webbing, that’s all that visibly remains but I know they’ll be back

Welcome aboard my new friend. This system has worked well so far for me. Tweak to the tried and proven, not trying to re-invent the wheel lol.
I like your plans, run into a stumbling block give me a holler maybe I can help

Chemdog #4 x Okie- day 0 pre flower
Cold day every where so I’m hanging in the garden and took some pics of the process
Keeping the tray full of empty pots keeps it dark and damp between floods, roots have a place to spread

The new flower trays work well, cuts rock use by 2/3. I’ll hydrate the bottom layer, 5gl. Then take the skirt off of the pot. This part took a little practice lol
Fill it up with Hydroton and rehydrate them while I’m getting the fabric over the rocks, keeps them clean.
I string my trellis with a yard stick, that’s a wooden measuring stick for the young ones.
Training starts now

They’ve treated me well. Actually they’ve rocked 2024. I’ll harvest 13 plants this year all okies of one flavor or another and they have meet/exceed the ole adage “1lb per 1K”

I do about anything you can think of but sell. Cooking oil and flower are the primary uses. I tinker at times and a cart or rosin etc. someday I’ll try washing and sifting

what are you planning to use for solvent? if butane, i could show you how to make a good sprayer out of a whip cream dispenser. way more efficient than using one of those spray tubes.

It’s clone day, was able to pull 2 lowers from Tropicana bringing this group back to 4 lines. Pure Michigan seedings make it 5 so somebody has to rotate out.

A look at the non-selects and their roots
