That’s the game plan

Her sister is at 5 weeks and is rocking hard. Normally don’t go back with a line this quick

Summer break starts soon so hitting it hard lol. I’m dropping down to 2 lights July-August. Last summer I ran 3 lights and no supplemental CO2. This summer I’m running CO2 but with the added heat it’s tough.
End of the summer I’ll have more flower with 2 lights and CO2. And not work as hard doing it

Way back, and I’m talking decades, I bought a CO2 generator really similar to this one:

They work. No question, they work. But, nobody tells you the amount of heat they produce and in July, it’s a bunch!
I sold mine but the pilot light on my heater does the same thing. Seriously, it’s worth it.

Finished up my first run of what I hope is RSO. I did the cold fast wash, has its benefits but I can see some condensation issues.
I ran the Buckner funnel and you can see how fast things frost up
The jar back left corner is from yesterday. Washed frozen flower and set it aside, this much water condensed
So 2 ounces yesterday and 2 more today. Evaporated down to 40 cc’s. I’m half scared to take one, nah!

I just hope there’s never an emergency when I’m brownie out! I wouldn’t be able to communicate with the first responders! Lol! Take one or two and let us know what you think! In a day or two!

That’s an awesome set up! Is there a filter in the top piece?

Some basic extraction tools: vacuum pump, 1000ml flask and a 500ml Buckner funnel. Make sure the numbers match (throat size) and the flask is larger. Nothing but liquid gets through. 10 seconds verses 15 minutes with a coffee filter
I only use this one for alcohol based extraction. I don’t filter my cooking oil this way

Here’s a video I took back a while ago. Overnight soak, green

Thats freaking amazing JJ! Have you tried putting a lid on the top piece? I was wondering if it would draw more alcohol out of the buds? On the same token it may draw unwanted material? Thats an awesome set up!
Im also curious if you could use the beaker over flame to boil the alcohol off? Im very impatient LOL!
Thank you for sharing this : )

Thanks ! I’ve found loading smaller amounts up top to be beneficial. Not sure of the heat rating but most all of your lab/science stuff can handle it. Crazy shit out there for rotovaps. This just barely scratches the surface

I love how it’s a three piece system, nothing crazy, extremely efficient and affective! This setup is for sure going on my list of concentrate equipment!

It’s simple and highly effective. The pump has other uses say purge your butane etc. etc.
One thing I did on the 2nd batch you might want to try. I split the flower into 2 (1 ounce each) containers. Soaked the first one then poured that into the 2nd. There’s no possible way the alcohol reached its saturation point from just one ounce. Faster and you use less alcohol
This is what I picked up, really inexpensive

Weekly
The wife’s got a reboot, going with Cosmos this round. Might be too tall of a plant but it’ll be alright

It was the first official day of summer Friday, came home to this in the grow room Saturday. The 97 f part. It hit 95 outside and my ac hit its limit. Shut down the lights and let the over ride fan catch up. Ac is running now but I’m on life support for lights. 8000 btu ain’t gonna cut it, time to go shopping

Cloner 16 days cut and everything is rooted
Veg- nothing going to flower this cycle
Apples and bananas- day 4 pre flower
Big K- 3 days in
Pure Michigan- 2 weeks flower. This gal pushes the limits.. last cycle she bushed hard so I cleaned the lowers good, she said f you and went another foot vertical
Apples and bananas- 5 weeks flower. Some wind burn but she’s still drinking 2.5gl/day
Plum crazy should be ready this week
jj

My boy got an upgrade as well. There wasn’t any issues with mine just thermald out from overload. Curtis Lowe went from from 4 to 8k, he gave me a big snort when he was snoring to say thanks
