Droopy leaves. not over watering.

Hey I’m new to this site and new to growing. I’ve been having a problem with dropping leaves. I think my light intensity is too much for them to handle. I and using a 800 watt led 3 fans blowing around. A heater to keep my day temps around 73-75 But the heater drops my humidity to around 40%. I bought a small humidifier but it doesn’t really increase my humidity at all. Plants are in 75% fox farms ocean forest 25% perlite. Last time I watered the. Was Monday. Today is Friday.

My light is at 50%. And my iPhone ppfd meter is reading around 300-400 at the top of my plants.

What make/brand light is it you are using? How far is it from the plants?
Can we get some close up shots on plant 2, looks to be a mildew issue but hard to tell in that picture.
How big is your space?

Mars fc8000. Lights are around 2 feet from the tops. Plants 2 and 3 have some on issues. Today was 2nd day I used lost coast spray on them.
I can get some pics tonight when I get home.

I’m kinda on a time crunch so I flipped to 12/12 today even though they weren’t the most healthily at this time.

Def not root bound. They are in huge 7 gallon pots.
They have new I’m that pot for about a month now. They Are in Fox farms ocean forest so I have just been giving them phed water Last time I watered was Monday.

Okay so not root bound. So you water once a week or every 3-4days? And do you get run off when you water?

I get run off now. I water when my pots get really light. Just like everybody says.

I had this same problem when they were in 1 gallon pots. I transplanted them to these 7 gallon and I was out of town for almost two weeks. I had my brother come by and water them while I was gone.

I can’t remember what % my lights were set at while I was gone.

Hi, what's the temperature? cold and too much water can do that, Does the soil dry out in between watering? 72f is comfortable living but the plants want it 78 -83 +-

Maybe you’ve addressed it, but you’re def gonna need to supplement the ocean forest with something. The mix has enough amendments to last 4-5 weeks but will fall way short of taking a plant from start to finish.
If u wanna keep things as simple as possible, just top dress with more ocean forest and some EWC (earthworm castings). I would do so now and again in 3 weeks.
Otherwise u can feed it synthetic nutes or top dress with a good dry organic for blooming like Gaia Green 2-8-4.
The start of flowering it’s really gonna need the fuel if you want a decent result.

Is it possible that the humidifier is causing some of the white patches on the leaves (minerals in the water?)??

Also appears that a lot more soil could go in those pots.

The day time temps are 73-75 degrees.
the last pics I posted the room had the same temps as they do now. So it might not be optimal temps but they were doing fine three weeks ago. My thought is that I turned my light power up and they are droopy cause if too much light. But the ppfd reading is still pretty low from what I’ve read

I have some bottle nutes I’m gonna start using next watering. GH three part. I also have some fox farms three part. That I’ve used before.

The white spots is PM. I have used lost coast plant therapy the past two days to try and tame the powdery mildew.

They are in 7 gallon pots so I don’t think they need more soil. But idk.

The first pic is a plant that looks exactly like this one I got. Stretchy as fuck better keep it trained. I suggest tying it down and letting lower top sites grow out.

The vpd calculator I was using was telling me the vpd was way to high. Too dry. I Put a humidifier in my room. But it doesn’t do much to raise the humidity.
The leaf temp I entered was just a guess. Asses in what I’ve read the leaf temp is always lower than the room temp.

Think i misread your hygrometer on the humidity, but yeah either way that VPD is out of range for veg. Are you in a tent with air circulation or you in a room? If you're in a room, you may just need to get a bigger humidifier that outputs the mist, that really helps ramp up the humidity and stay there. I keep mine in my tent running 24/7 on Level 1 of 3 with 3 fans in my tent and a 4" AC Infinity exhaust. With my lights and that running with constant air cycling, I can control my VPD pretty much within .88-1.14. I know it's tough getting it under control, but once you do you'll see a difference in the growth from seedlings to full veg. I'm almost certain this is your issue.
