A few photos of my own implements on the coco techniques and the ability for advancement of my own implements by suggestions is openly welcome I tend to jump on everything I have not yet tried in any form of Hydroponics, givin that it is not some $15k system of some sort but I am looking seriously into MPB systems they are pretty much the shiz ogmf all hydro in my opinion.

So first here is what I came to find with myself and my own personal experience with flood tables and the ability to create a perfect environment or as close as possible for about two years now and running smoothly still to this day after trying out the plethora of different ways to do this.

So for starters this is a drip system I have made from a no slip shower base for the elderly that the store has me as a floor model and tossed out. The dripper are made from just a bit of funny pipe poked holes and forced drip line in and in Lou of the tea bag for a filter I use a rainbird micro filter and this insures me 100% nothing gets in my dripper needs to be cleaned out about every three days I run recirculating in a 35gal rez and I gave up on trying out nutes in coco I simply use a organic time release stone nute from Santiam organics the one and same company that great white buys their microbe before doing what they do with it the specific one I use is called Be-1 and I love it however this is only for veggies flower does get a regular feeding

Then we have my flood table with 3 gal air pots and hydroton only but the plants were established in a 2&1/2" Rockwool as well as photo of the one in hydrotons root system

And finally the system I was referring to and from what I have been explaining how I use it and what it is I have already tested from previous post comments on it. I have to still say the best way for me is split the coco and perlite 50/50 no mixing just perlite first then coco

Just found this thread. I run recirc coco no problems at all. I mean really no drama. I converted from being a lifelong dwc grower to coco about 9 months ago. Easy. Just keep your e.c low and you can feed your pants 5 times a day with lights on and get explosive results. I never liked the idea of RTW, always felt it was a waste of nutes!

Here's my easy to build DTW in coco. You'll notice the plants sit in a table. The nutes are pumped up from the below rez go into each 5 gall smart pot. I run the pumps for 2 minutes twice a day. The table has one hole I made and attached an open spicket to. The water will drop down into a smaller bin sitting right above the rez, collecting all the crap water. Easy to do, easy to dump, no brainer.

FYI the clear tubes are just connected to airstones that sit in the rez. Not part of the DTW system. I'm also growing in a 4x4 grow tent so space is limited.

How often you run your pump? I'm at 15 on 45 off.. 1/2hp sump.. Garden hose is unobstructed (not capped) on return side..

Hey man well I was running smaller pots than I do now and feeding 5 times a day. But I’ve changed to one feed a day for about 8-10 minutes. However long it takes to achieve about 20-30% run off.

3/4" PVC, with 1/4" feed lines. I use top-hat grommets to connect the feed lines to the PVC manifold. Open lines, no drip emitters. I use a pretty serious pump, so the ball valve in the manifold is important to control the flow rate. This is vital, because as the root mass really gets going, the feed time has to be increased, and flow decreased. As more and more roots fill the tiny pot, water drains a lot more slowly, and too-high of a flow rate will just spill over the top of the pot.

This flow rate adjustment also allows for the volume each plant receives each feeding to remain constant, adding or removing plants from the table.

In my opinion, cycle-feeding straight coco (no perlite) is by far (I mean not even close) the simplest and least error-prone way to grow under lights for the vast majority of growers (and ALL home growers). If you're putting in a warehouse with 10,000 plants, look to rockwool. But if you're just growing a few lbs at a time, this is the easiest way to get the highest yields of the frostiest, tastiest product.
