Not for sure, but I've ran lights on for 24 hours in veg and my plants did wonderful. It seemed like a shorter veg time as well (obviously) and then when I flipped to 12/12 everything went smooth.

Many people do this. I honestly don’t know anyone that runs anything less than 18 hours of light in veg. Also never heard of a short day plant or a long day cannabis plant so I’m learning all types of new shit today haha

You got know-nothing people with out of control ego problems acting as if they know better than you when it's really fishing for some educational handout. If I see an obvious poblem, like detrimental advice by people that should be reading instead if writing, doing harm... yeah I will criticize it. Its the right thing to do. The other side of the coin is there as well. For example that kid with his first plant. And make-shift low budget grow, I said to him, Good job, your plant looks healthy! I've said that several times to people here. Good job. I've also said, "That's good advice." Because I'm not only hyper focused on criticism like you may want to imagine. Without the bigger picture, reducing me to a couple posts that criticized something, it's not the real picture.

All under the same light, so unsure why 2 of the same strain are growing differently (stretch wise).

It happens, even in the same strain. The photo below are the same strain, same tent, same age, etc. Even 2 specimens of the same genotype can exhibit different phenotype characteristics.
Cannabis is finicky as hell. Even with my more than basic understanding of plant science, I’ve had things go off the rails from time to time. (BSc in Botany and Agronomy, MSc in Biochemical Engineering). I’ve found that I learn more about this plant with each grow and observation goes farther than most anything.
