okj its obvious the power buckets are rocking the free nation right?
so i want to know the difference in terms .dwc=deep water culture
under current=??
mpb=

whats the diff/
it seem the point it high flow frothy nutes
why the chiller? pumps heat the water ??
what temp is ideal ?
it seems that home made vs $1000 for $100 worth of plastic is too much.
plus i could get a frothier result with nozzles in ea bucket spewing mega flow??
for give me for the lamens ? im new here and am hooked on the vertical idea

Im always thinking of different ways I could make hydro systems, one way for dwc would be with 6" pvc pipe, with tees for the plant sites, the roots cant clog that. lol Have it make a full loop and a few pumps would get the water going around. Maybe use even larger pipe.

under current and mpb are alot of the same thing, just meant for growing different sized plants.

I spent about 20 years in hydroponics and tried every system. Loved em all. When the governments legalized marijuana for medical purposes and slapped a minimal plant count on the growers i felt like it was time to bring a system to the forfront that handled big plants. I put the "most" of everything in it. The mpb and the undercurrent system is designed for high dissolved oxygen in the nute soslution, i wanted those nutes just frothing so i could get incredibe veg and early flowering growth. pumps well they pump the water.....
chillers cool the water that gets heated up by the temp of the room, temp from bubblers and pumps.. The system is designed to give the plants exactly what it needs when they need it at the correct time and correct amount. lots of light, co2, nutes, dissolved oxygen.... everything.

hope that helps

Um.

1) There is an entire MPB forum on the main forums page.
2) It's a high-flow, high aeration RDWC system
3) Poke around a bit before you revive two-year-old threads

i just read ur post only, i thought homemade UC will cost away less than buying it at CC. I was wrong, i dont live in the usa and here to get all the part its quiet hard and expensive.

Going UC or RDWC its quite expensive anyway, a good water chiller and a good reverse osmosis cost 2000 usd for me already. Still nothing compare to the harvest :harvest:

you can build it cheap, 6 dollar 3inch collar, I would use 3inch union for expasion 15 bucks each, 10 dollar rubber made totes 21gallon bigger root ball, better pump, filter, make my own nutes, 35 gallon main resovore, 250 gallon feed tank.
Double or tripe everything ,keep all standadized, for easy change out, ready to go just move plants, clean and go.
build own light's, when you have money you can buy the stuff, automated, turn key opperation.
I 'm straight so to speak I went on permanent trip years ago never made it back to realality, I don't smoke and work, I work to smoke, I'm ten steps ahead of the next guy at least the one's that I see most is ares in boofted land.
use ice cubes on return line till can afford chiller, do calculation on co2 rather than by ppm controller now.cubic foot volume,
Start slow and build, I got 300 dollar lights for 15 bucks sold them for 30 got mine for free, lumens increse with less distance, you can get 60,000 lumens out of 50,000 lumen light ,one that gives 110,000 lumens you can't use but 60,000 with out burning plant.

If you use unions and only have 4, next time you can have 12.

Yep, this is NOT a system you wanna scimp on.....why bother, just build something you can afford like regular DWC or something. If you scimp and go cheap trying to DIY this system you will be sorry, and end up spending lots of money for NOTHING!
