I have had a problem with early maturity of 100% sativa strains which require longer periods of flowering. I think I have the problem solved but since I’m relatively new to growing, I don’t want my plants to get too mature. Can I get so input on the flower photo and the trichomes as to what stage of maturity? Many thx.....

And looks like you got a lot of nitrogen in the system to be that dark of a green at this stage.

Thx for the feedback....the nitrogen toxicity was reason for early maturing so have eliminated that nutrient. Apparently the soil was hotter than I thought (Foxfarm). When I harvested last plant at 5-6 weeks, I noticed some seeds. Was this because of the shock of too much nitrogen? The sativas I’m growing require intense light so I keep the 2000w LED between 24 to 30 inches . Flowering tent remains at about 50% humidity but I keep vegetation tent at 70%.

Nope seeds only come from pollen. Look for nanners or pollen sacs. look at all the buds and under em.

Yeah sometimes they’re hard to see but if you let seeds mature you got fem seeds. I have a strain known to pollenate itself. They’re pain in ass watching for em. N usually I’ll still have a seed or 2 On that strain.

Here is what they look like. In the buds. Those bastards pop out n pollenate quick. Usually late flower when pushing it. These are from someone else thread but the little banana looking things pollenate the buds.

I saw these earlier also. I’ll have to examine very closely. Did you see anything unusual on the flower photos?

I didn’t see any of these. According to the first photos I posted, how do those look at 47 days of flowering? Also, I’ve posted two new photos of flowers coming right behind the first. They have been flowering for 25 days.....your thoughts please. I haven’t given any nitrogen for weeks. I appreciate your help....I’m still on the learning curve but seems like that is endless....lol

Important question:::I’m still trying to deal with early maturity. Based on the recent flower photos, how many days into flowering should you start to see brown pistols?
