Hey guys just went out and got my 1st ec meter (normally go by the bottle). I need some help though with the feeding levels (seed/veg/bloom). Any help appreciated. SkUnKy

of course your mileage may vary with different nutrient brands...


any brand in particular?

perhaps are you looking for this?

(its from a google search so dont flame me for site choice...lol )

Hey thanks for that LB Dosen't really answer my question tho, wanted to know what ec i should be runnin my nutes at in the diff stages (seed/veg/bloom) thanks for the help. SkUnKy

did you miss that?

they all vary man

if you are unsure...

you should just start low. always start low. you can ALWAYS feed more.

get a log out and start low...

thas all i can tell you until you give me a hint as to what nutrient brands you are using, as to some are more concentrated and will give a low EC with a false impression that it is low fed. While in reality, it is being fed and healthy, i.e. House & Garden.

also, i see you said that you normally just go by the bottle...

why not try mixing it up how you normally do it and take a measurement?

that would help, no?

Normally use biobizz all-mix n nutes, Goin coco this time canna coco A+B, regen a root,Headmasta,pk13-14 and alg-a-mic these were recommended to me. What do you farmers run your Ec at? anyone got a basic guide from early veg to flower. Many Thanks. SkUnKy

ahhhhh now we have something :D help me help you brother...

when i used to run canna back in the day, i pretty much followed the chart to the t, on normal feeding...and then i would cut back from there *if need be*

you may need some cal/mag fasho...5ml/gallon is a good starting ratio and work ya way up if they are asking for it.

far as the regen a root, headmasta, and alg-a-mic... never really played with those, im guessing they are rooting supplements and something with algae extracts in, right? you can follow the bottle or cut in half

i had pulled out my logs from back in the day when using canna, but when i just looked at the chart again, they were pretty much spot on.

I have this chart hanging in my grow room and refer to it all the time. Make sure you use the proper reading for the meter you have. :bong2:

I found a ph of 5.8 works best for hydro.

hey, i use canna too, the bio/terra ranges specifically but i tend to stick pretty close to this chart - lifted from canna's website..
