Efficient way to heat room??

What's up guys! And gals! I am trying to figure out a way to heat up my room a little better this winter.. I run my lights at night when the temps are the coolest and the heater is still needed then.. When the lights are off during the day, it's in the 30's to 40's Fahrenheit outside and around 65 in the room with the heater running at full blast..... I use a little 1500 watt space heater that does OK but I would love to get something better that maybe uses less energy.. I have seen some propane heaters that you can run indoors from home depot but am a little weary of them and how much it will cost in propane to run.. Ughhhh all so frustrating.. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

cancel out the heater and add 2 more lights. that way you get the benefit of heat and you get something for it.

I use those electric oil filled radiator type heaters. Walmart has one with a temp regulator thermostat. It holds heat and cycles off and on. They are very safe too.

me too ,I use 3 of them in my room ..it gets muFUGGN cold here!!Bought mine at Lowes ,they are made by Kenwood ..good stuff ,$30 each I think ,I put a fan on low speed down on the floor,really helps circulate the heat around the room

I am still surprised by how much they don't cost too. They were about $30 each too. I still remember the guy's face that checked me out. I had 2 heaters and 2 small a/c and barely broke $200.

I have a large basement and a small 400w light.

This is a cheap way to recirculate dryer heat.
