I have tried several things here and there nothing seems to hold the mites off for long. Is this something that needs to be continually done like spraying every 3 days or so? I as m new to this, looking for a little bit of advice. Thanks in advance!

Neem oil , in the bathtub so you dont stink up the place , home depot mist bottle , 1/2 teaspoon neem oil ,one drop of soap , hot water , shake like hell

Spray everything down , undersides , leaf , stem , soil ...let dry one hour later mist with fresh watet

Repeat every 3 to for dsys for 2 weeks....
Should work , always works for me....

Neem oil is good stuff, I'd recommend alternating with something else to prevent any resistance. And yeah, when you have an actual infestation you should do at least three sprays 2-3 days apart. It's a good idea to do a spray once every week or two as a preventative.

I alternate between two different pest sprays. One is a mix of Azamax and Captain Jack's Deadbug (both are neem based), the other is Green Cleaner by itself.

Yea a drop of hand soap from a hand pump , or really mild dish soap , 1 or two drops in the mister, the point is to break up the neem oil so hot water , and shake like hell to dissolve the oil in the mister , it should be just a tiny bubbly , not foaming up...
You can wash your hands with handsoap then let the dripping soapy water into the mister bottle opening if you want a gentle soap infusion instead.....

Normally stops them dead in their tracks , just need to be on top of the new tiny eggs that hatch , so follow up every 3 days , spray twice a day , i like to rinse the shiny oil off with a second clean water mister , like an hour after i spray the plant...

If you already have "webs" it might be too late to controll

Vigilance is key here! Anything that kills them works, you just have to keep up with the hatching cycle. Give yourself a 4 weeks before flower or they can come back while you have buds and then you can't spray(or I won't)
So ya every 2-3 days without fail for at least 2 weeks then maybe every 4 until you're positive there gone. Clean your floors, clean your crack, clean your vents, they're tiny and ride on the wind just like spiders! Hopefully you have a small operation.

Soap, Castile Soaps, Neem, Jacks, rosemary oils, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol are all contact killers and not really systemic. (neems debated) thats in the low to high risk of burning plants order roughly. Those can be used right up to flower. but they only kill on contact so you have to keep up. The avid, forbids and bug bombs are great but you gotta grow that out of the plant like 6-8 weeks before you flower in my experience to pass labs.

Can you link some mister bottles I know that sounds dumb but my initial thought when read all this was just making a solution in a bottle and spraying it on as a wet spray but If I’m understanding correctly it’s just a mist not a full on liquid lol sorry

You will definitely have to spray multiple times to break the egg cycle. I use plant therapy, completely natural, can be used the day of harvest and kills them on contact without hurting any beneficial bugs you may have. It’s basically essential oils with some rubbing alcohol and citric acid. Extremely useful and it’ll kill any spider mite on contact

Plant therapy! Avid is a chemical pesticide and not the best to use. Pretty sure plant therapy is available on Amazon as well

Will mites cause leaves to yellow badly? Some are getting real bad. I think I found trace of them. Started using plant therapy, added another fan and drop temps to around 58 during lights off. Hoping to see results now
