No pic's today.... sorry the camera isn't in the house and my comments may be a bit premature- but this strain sucks. Go back and read Hippy's review and he is SPOT on. I MEAN I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING IN HIS COMMENTS. Very accurate!
I have 9 days to go. I cut a piece yesterday with mostly white hairs and dried it in a dehydrator for about 5 hours. Smoked it and got a decent high for about 1.5 hours. The majority of plants are refusing to finish properly. And before you start questioning, I have Sannie's Hericules and Sweet Seeds White Widow grown in the same room and they turned out spectacularly. So, these E.S. seeds are expensive, touchy and somewhat difficult to grow, don't finish up properly, yield below average and have no taste or smell when finished. I'm so pissed I feel like demanding a refund! I will post some pic's shortly but you've been warned people: don't buy this strain. I'm guessing that it is a fact that GreenThumb lost the original parents and the latest seed run fucked the strain up. This is just another example- one of many- when a breeder can't duplicate his previous efforts and the strain becomes mediocre. This is a perfect example.
Of course, if there is a miracle in the next 9 days, I'll let you know. If not, a final review will be posted in about 2 weeks when everything is dry and weighed.
Thanks for the update,
Im still unbias, as my ES is kicking ass, and as big as Doc's G13. My ES has stong side branching and seems to be a good plant to grow Vert bare bulb which is what I do.
I haven't flipped them yet, im in no hurry, and want a big yeild.

Well Fletch, you have little choice at this point. In veg the plants looked fine and I thought they had great potential. Then the bottom falls out about half way thru flowering......... I have now read 4 similar reviews as mine now- all fairly recent grows. Personally, once I'm burned by a seed breeder, I typically shy away from them and go back to the breeders I've had success in the past with. So, goodby Dr. GThumb, I won't be back. Good luck with yours Fletch- keep us posted.

I hate to admit it, with all my negativity but today is 9 weeks flowering and I chopped an average size bud, light and hairy(white) but loads of resin. It was dehydrated for about 3 hours in a beef jerky dehydrator. IT FUCKED ME UP. One nice size bong hit is all I did. It's very potent. EXTREMELY strong. So, if you are willing to put up with all the other stuff- potency is an area you won't have to worry about. Signing of til harvest time......

Interesting grow report.
I would in hindsight rate ES a 8 for potency. Same for docs ghost og. I liked the ES my favorite buds after curing had a sweet B.O. Smell. ES is nice change from kushes and is huge yielder but not sure I would recommend it considering the price and what else is available.
I just finished growing out one doc g13/sour d cross (maybe sour13 he calls it?). Very solid 9. Seriously strong and gets my body vibrating. I had really low expectations for this as I don't think sour d breeds well but boy was I surprised! Big yielder too. Will try to post some dried nug shots. better than the ES or the ghost og in my opinion.

Checked out the new High Times today and saw that Dr. GreenThumb stopped advertising Endless Sky in his ad's....... lists a bunch but E.S. is no more. That alone should speak volumes..........
Everything is cut and drying. Pics and a final grow/smoke report in a week or so.

No, not really North. It's strong, but not better than most of the other things I've grown in the last few years. There were no keepers in the room and most, at 70 days, could have used another week or two for sure. Personally, at this point, I would grow one of Doc's other items long before I ever attempted this strain again.........

Now that is a good a one. I have enjoyed it for a year now and have lots of folks who like it very much. Almost a coffee flavor IMO anyway. Plus it finishes before anything else i've grown. I have had some ready at just 6 weeks from flip. It is best left in veg to about 20 inches then go 12/12. She's a beauti !
Nice taste when cured and produces pretty solid nugs of nice green with red hairs. Props to doc on her.
But the endless sky can blow away ....see ya
Wasn't worth the time. Buzz was good...not special but good enough. Big yield...less than stellar taste....looks ...pretty good....smell SUCKS

I always thought ES was good in crosses . I have done quite a few with it . I got my ES about 13 years ago she's going to stay with me .

It's a different plant today, that's for sure. I heard both original parents are gone.

i've grown a lot of Doc's strains and they were all amazing but that Sour 13 is the biggest baddest thing I have ever grown. Not only a huge plant but fantastic taste and may be the strongest smoke I have had in decades of growing.
