Thanks, yea will definitely just do 1 at a time.Go ahead try to but don't stuff more than one in my opinion. Start looking at manifolds and quad line cause your really gonna need to keep in low in veg. Give it a go, that's how we all learned.
Thanks man, that’s awesome that you have done it in the same sort of space. I’d definitely be happy if I could get 4oz and the experience of growing a photoHi Spursgrower, I like your setup, with the electrical outlets right there. I couldn't see it in the pic but do you have an exhaust or are you able to put up with the amazingly wonderful scent getting out?
My tent has about the same headroom as yours and I grow photos. The plants in the video were about 24 inches tall at harvest. Yummy Blue Haze buds. Got about 4 ounces from this grow. Not a whole lot but I'm intent on encouraging them better next time.
Just wanted to share the possibilities.
Let me Google what scrog meansFlip them early and scrog the crap out of it.
If you lack height train it short and flip early. Photoperiods are easier to control Than autos. Look how I train or how captain does it, we keep them bushyHi all again,
I’m after some opinions on if you think I’ve got enough room, especially head height to grow a photoperiod.
I’ve got 4ft 5in from floor to ceiling in my grow cupboard, my light is sitting at 4ft from the floor and I don’t think it should really go any higher as I don’t want to overheat the wooden ceiling.
By the time you take off a foot for the pot I’ve only got 3ft of space without taking into account distance from canopy to lights.View attachment 2188177View attachment 2188178View attachment 2188179
It’s also 2ft deep and 3ft wide.
I’d really like to grow a pennywise View attachment 2188180
I’m happy to attempt topping and training to keep it as low as possible.
Any advice welcome as I’ve only done short autos so far.
Thanks I will have a look though your workIf you lack height train it short and flip early. Photoperiods are easier to control Than autos. Look how I train or how captain does it, we keep them bushy

Awesome diary mate. I see you now use a net that you didn’t on this diary. What’s the purpose of it? I’ve seen SOG where the net is used to kind of stop the upwards growth or keep it all the same height but I thought that was nearer the canopy, is this the same idea?Thread 'Peanut butter breath and space panda from atlas seeds GROW JOURNAL' https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/p...e-panda-from-atlas-seeds-grow-journal.149697/
This is one I'm particularly proud of
Yeah I thought about that to get up to the very top bit of wood which would probably add 4 inches. but that void between the wood is also filled with insulation so not sure how much removing that would change how I keep the environment right.Could you remove the wood from above and make it higher?
I run 80" high tents, sometimes I wish those were even taller lol.
Plants can double or more in height when you flip, depending on strain.
Definitely SCROG, even double SCROG if you need to.
After flipping and the stretch, you won't want your plant to be closer then 18" IMO, could maybe get away with 12" but if you notice any burning then you might have to lower light intensity so your highest Buds don't get burnt, unfortunately that means the lower bud sights will get even less light because of the reduced intensity.
The net in my photo is a SCROG, you tuck your tops under the net as your plant grows in veg.Is the scrog the net that cannafarmer420 uses?
Nice, so does that stop them growing or is it just like training to send them off at an angle instead of going straight up?The net in my photo is a SCROG, you tuck your tops under the net as your plant grows in veg.

It sends them off at an angle so they can grow out instead of up.Nice, so does that stop them growing or is it just like training to send them off at an angle instead of going straight up?
That’s great info thanks mate.It sends them off at an angle so they can grow out instead of up.
You tuck your tops under the net, wait for them to grow more and then tuck them under the next section of net.
This will also open up the middle of your plant more, bringing lower bud sites to the top, which will give them more light and will give you more yield.
I remove most of the leaves below the net after I scrog for a week or 2, this will help with air flow and plant will transfer energy to the growth above the net instead of wasting it on lower sites that are not going to get the light they need for decent sized nugs anyways.
