Hey guys!!

I have 4 Forbidden Zkittles clones from 2 different Gen 0/TC moms.

I'm super curious with such strong/worked genetics via a breeder cut that's still being BX to today by ETHOS, if both mom's will give me the same results.

In theory, they should all 4 be identical.

But they were shipped from two different places (same company), experienced different levels of stress in that process, and I'm just feeling like there has to be a difference lol.

They were OBVIOUSLY maintained by different growers before shipping, but I won't go down that rabbit hole right now.

Here's some photos of where I'm at with nursing these ladies back to health...

I also included a photo of the 2nd batch of clones I got that were well rooted, and looked decent, but still looking fir the photos of the pathetic looking first batch you guys HAVE to see!

Found a photo!

This is how they arrived...

But in their defense, the owner was super cool and replaced them immediately for free!

There was like an almost inch wide PLANT TAG jammed into ALL three of them! They were in little 1 inch rockwool cubes that had just finished rooting from the looks of it, and the tag just sawed off half the roots lol. BUT! Even though they got down to basically just the meristem being healthy...they made it so far lol.

The beat-up ones aren’t giving you a clean genetics comparison yet. If both Gen 0 moms really came from the same Forbidden Zkittles cut, all four should carry the same genotype. They still won’t necessarily look or yield the same in this run. A clone comes off the mother with her nutrient status and stored energy, then yours went through very different amounts of root damage in transit. Right now you’re mostly comparing their history, not the cut.

I’d let both lines get fully healthy, then take fresh cuts from each on the same day and root them side by side. Start them at the same size in the same pot and medium, then rotate positions under the light. If stretch, structure, finish time, resin and aroma converge, the differences were environmental. If the A line keeps behaving one way and B another through fresh cuts, then start thinking mislabeled stock, different pathogen load or a TC off-type. Tissue culture can occasionally produce somaclonal variation, but I’d put shipping and mother condition way ahead of that here.

Those first arrivals looked brutal, but the active new growth says they’re rebuilding. Judge the next few nodes, not those old damaged leaves.

This is what their reship looked like...they were healthier, but super weird cuts lol.
Like I hate it when someone takes a cut that's the main node, and then one more almost at the base haha.

Maybe im just weird.

But they're definitely looking better, and its still so weird how both batches match each other! One has a more textured leaf and the other is softer, but their actual structure is the same...theyre all branching in a really awesome and even way.

I sat them all outside for a little bit while doing a top watering, and they love the sun! Perked way up!

My outside plant is doing incredibly, and im happy so far for the first plant I've ran outdoors.
