Hi, trying to extract decarbed hash using 151 proof Everclear. I remember reading somewhere where he said it can be done but it doesn’t work as good. Is anybody got a way to make that work? That’s all it’s available to me here.
Do you use tea lights to run it hahaha

Not sure why you say it cant be smoked/vaped. Is this because he used 151 Proof and not 195 Proof? What are you trying to accomplish?
190 proof everclear would work better
Freeze the everclear in a glass container with a lid. Add broken up decarbed bud (hash), shake it like its hot, strain right from the jar into another glass container with lid.
You can use a cheese cloth then coffee filter to strain. And i use a syringe to seperate the oil from alcohol.
You can evap the alcohol off with a fan. Try to do this in the coldest temps as possible.
People use other methods.
Remember alcohol is flammable. Do not use near any flame.
A second wash will produce very little if the first wash is done well.*with 190 proof everclear
DO NOT smoke the final product.
Cook with it or eat it.
not sure where you are in canada but i get 20litres isopropyl delivered to my house for a total of $138Just one more thing I would like to add. This is purely personal preference.
Everclear is retarded expensive. I only use Everclear if concentrate for edibles or tinctures.
If extracting to make a vape-able or smoke-able concentrate, 99% ISO is the cheapest route and my preferred solvent. $160CAD/16L.
Food grade ethanol is heavily regulated in Canada. It is next to impossible for a private citizen to even purchase it. Every ml must be accounted for. The permit to purchase and posses is only good for 3 months.
Because it wasnt the full process. It was just extract at the most basic level. Not sure why you say it cant be smoked/vaped. Is this because he used 151 Proof and not 195 Proof?
I have used both 195 Everclear and 99% ISO to extract. Even e-nrg. If properly purged, there is no reason the concentrate cant be smoked or vaped. Both solvents yield a tasty dab. It is all in your process.
The lower the temperatures are through-out all steps of your process will yield the cleanest and most flavorful concentrate. Filtering is everything!
Carbon is your friend.
Yes it does.Video doesnt play
Hmm, strange. Just tried it again. Not sure why it doesnt play for me. Just a green play button. Nothing when I click it.Yes it does.
doesnt isopropyl have deadly cemicals? everytime you make any concentrate parts of alchohol will stay in it....Just one more thing I would like to add. This is purely personal preference.

That’s a nice collection of glassware, almost rivals the lab setup in the chemical plant I work at lolJust thought I would throw this in.
This is about a $7500 investment that I compiled over approx. 3 yrs. All glassware was purchased brand new. Some equipment was purchased used.
If venturing into extracting, I highly recommend the Source Turbo to start. You can see it on the top of the tall black shelf. It will get you a good start. But are limited to batch sizes of approx 1oz of flower. As it becomes very concentrated, any more, the concentrate will bubble over into the reclaimed solvent .
