Finally thinking these group of mixed strains are going to survive. Problems getting viable seedlings from seeds, broke off a tap root placing the sprouted seed into a root riot cube, and used some soil left over, that was worthless all contributed to the impediments this season.
But out of the woods now, have two maggies' pacifier, one platinum delights, and one OGKZ for this off season grow, more to follow.
So today moved into 5 gallon bags, new ffof soil, with mykos root beneficial bacteria. Out side to garage, and under my 3500K 4 pot cob fixture. Please note this camera doesn't do a good job on the white balance, and the next round of updates will be with my real camera (so the yellow isn’t really what’s going on)...
Completed some low stress training, plants are doing better 2 weeks after up sizing to the 5 gallon bags, and getting some new ffof soil under these plants.
Sorry not to have posted lately...but shit happens. Anyways into the first full week of bloom and one out of my four plants is a male. But better one than two. The plant was looking a bit strange regarding the other three, was watching it, finally showed it’s sex today one week into bloom. Chopped.
Recent shots showing progress, approximately one month later. I've got one plant that is showing some latency in any discernable production of trichomes... Shot's are as follows: first are the clones, they're in week eight since rooting. The second and third shot is of the OGKZ Indica from Humboldt seeds, only displaying few trichomes at this point 45 days into bloom. The fourth shots show Maggie's pacifier, another Indica from Telekinetic genetics, also 45 days into bloom.
So concluding this first portion of the grow... Started four plants from seed, one was found to be a male after flipping, so it was culled. The remaining three grew out to maturity and have chopped two of these three at 64 & 66 days respectively. They’re now drying out, in my small tent, which I’m trying something new for their curing. The last plant a OGKZ has seemed reluctant to mature and I’m going to keep it in bloom for a week or so to see what happens.
I’ve taken clones off the plants before flipping and those are going into the bloom tent as soon as the last plant is ready.
So far here is the harvest, with one plant still curing. The remaining clones taken off the previous three plants are doing much better than at the stage the originals were doing at the same age...
Chopped everything except the OGKZ, that I’m letting go a few more days to see if it does anything further. Very dissatisfied with the overall Trichome production I see of the OGKZ of my plant. The Maggies Pacifier by contrast is very nice and sticky chopped at 64 & 66 days, with the slower cure I’ve been using getting a deal of aroma from these buds...
