Hello all. I’m looking for advice on a feeding schedule. I am using coco coi a 12 gal water reservoir. I feed them on auto 2x a day. Then flush with just water on last few weeks. Using general hydroponics powder. I have heard do not do this and feed them during flower once a week? Coco dries up in about three days sometimes. Doesn’t that harm the plant? Any advice?

Yes don't ever let your coco dry and try to avoid as much plain water as possible so the CEC of the coco stays normal. You really must feed with every watering with coco. Better to just drop down to 250 ppm. A splash of micro per gal does the trick.

Always nutrients in the water and as another grower here likes to say, fertigate fertigate fertigate daily.

We presume everyone knows what CEC is, but it might be new info for some folks.

That's my way of getting folks to do some googling on this stuff. It's usually better than my half ass way of explaining it lol.

Coco: "also, if you give me cheap ammonium nitrate fertilizer I will also grab the ammonia, thanks!"

I might be too much on the ppm. I start around 800 and drop to 500 last few weeks with cal mag too

No that's great. Just don't "flush" with plain water is what I'm saying. Your coco always wants the calmag if there's not enough in your tap water.

I just want to say, "stealth" EC drives me nucking futs sometimes . Thinking about a 3 part hose attachment just so I've got 0 ppm whenever I really want it, but there's also times I like that calcium assist.

My Google search said CEC stands for "Council for Exceptional Children".
