I found one seed in my dried flower. I would like to make more seeds from this one as its expensive to buy these type.
I have read up on cloning so want to take a clone from this plant or two, get either the mom or one of the clones to herm and make seeds by polinating the other clone. My question is if the same plant polinates itself will the babies (seeds) be inbred? Is this taboo, what might the repercussions be? Thats question #1,
Question #2: Would I be better off interbreeding it with another type I already have thats a sativa even though this is an indica?

If your trying to make seeds, using hermie plants isn't the way to go. Huge (astronomical is the actual word) chance of every offspring having that same hermie trait, and is not good for anything.

But you may get super lucky and find 1 that doesn't hermie on you.

I was just gong to use colloidal silver on a few buds get those to turn male, so its not a true hermaphrodite, thats how people make feminized seed, my question is if the clone is from the exact same plant is that bad?

If you clone from a hermie plant, the clone will/may carry the same hermie trait.

The cut definately will carry on every trait of the plant it is taken from.......every single time with no exceptions.

Yeah I guess the titles misleading my plant is feminized but I'm going to take a clone off it and them make the mom herm by using coloidal silver on some of the buds to get pollin, my question is is it bad to make seed from the exact smae plant fertilizing itself?

will always carry the hermie trait like the above responses. can always florel the grown plant from seed and pray I always say. but is it worth it? up to you.. I would personally love it if peeps started throwing out the S2+ seeds they find.. our entire gene pool will thank you all.

...not sure if I made sense above.. but I wouldn't re-fem a fem plant...at all. should start with regular seeds (Male Female), find a select cut you want, take another 2 cuts from it. spray down 1 of the 2, and reverse it. it will pollinate the other un-altered cut, for a "correct" S1 procedure...but dont start with a already femmed plant ever. please lol.

you will potentially want alot more cuts than 2 also.. depends on how many seeds you want. my F1 or IX or whatever made me 1000+ seeds. last fem run netted me 3.
