If you have leaves laying on top of each other moisture will pool there and promote mold either tuck them or cut them

Ahhhhhh. This is something that I have noticed twice on two spots on two of the plants. Like today, I watered last night, and I guess I accidentally got a few drops here and there on the leaves while positioning myself. This evening while just looking through things, I found the spots where it was wet between two leaves. Cool. So, that makes awesome sense. Now... How much leaves to remove would be appropriate, and what is too much?

I have seen some folks say to leave the shade leaves alone, others say cut them any time you want, and others say just cut if they are in the way of colas getting direct light. So, whats your opinion on shade leaves and cutting leaves?

It's still a very debated topic but from what I've seen taking the stuff off the bottom that doesn't receive much light as well as removing shade leaves that are shading bud sites. Try to get all the bud sites you can exposed to light and wind and from what I've seen it increases usable yield. You get bigger denser buds up top and less trim.

Just while I have you on the horn, I have been looking at going coco for my next grow, or the one after that (wanting to get started fairly soon). What do you use, mix, or whatever, to grow in your coco? Do you have a thread on here where you have listed what all you do to make yours up and run it?

Man, I hate to count the chickens before the hatch, but I am curious to hear what your idea of what kind of "solid" yield I might be able to pull off here (assuming I don't get dumbass disease before now and harvest). I know all grows vary with a multitude of variables, but in your opinion and experience, what would you personally say is a "solid yield" from a grow this size on SCRoG?

If you need some extra intel: My tent is 2.5 x 2.5 so the SCRoG is essentially 2 x 2. There are four plants in three gallon pots (fabric pots), and one in a plastic pot about the same size but this plant was stressed and has much less chutes and vegetation than the others (I threw it in to revive it, and it came back with a force, just not as good looking as the other four). Again, I also use soil grow and 432w (comparable wattage) blurple light.

Can I get myself into trouble with with the plants breathing even if I am making proper use of the fans I have inside the tent, as well as the filter and inline fan that I have pulling air from the tent? What other forms of breathing trouble are out there, and any kind of signs that my plants aren't getting optimal breathing?

I’ve evolved my coco the last few runs. At this point I use Canna coco in the bag, about 20% perlite, and about 20% EWC (earth worm castings). The little balls on top is Hydroton clay balls. They are mostly used in hydroponic gardens, but I just threw some on top of the coco to try and keep the gnats down. Auto watered a few times a day. The pics I posted are 4 plants in a 3x3 tent. So the SCRoG is 2.5x2.5. It gets pretty crowded in there by the 3rd week of flower. Sounds like you’re in a smaller space, so that’s something you may want to consider when flipping or for the next run. As far as yield, I pulled 8.5oz of bud and 4.2oz of larf/trim with a 400w HPS light. I did document my first few grows here if you wanted to read it.

So, I am going to go ahead and flip at the end of this week (Sunday night). Any and all advice or tips for in advance of flipping, and also immediately flipping? Anything from when to stop pruning and tucking, to well just anything you find handy to know (especially for a new grower).
