sounds like a good strain. what it is it a hybrid indica?I've really had it bad for the flavor of this black cherry punch strain from in house genetics for quite some time. I never could bring myself to order the seeds.
These folks had them on sale at just the right time. I actually had the money. Lol
I picked up some coco at my local supply store today. I'm all ready to start as soon as the seeds come in. Stay tuned...
indica cross between Purple Punch and Black Cherry Pie.sounds like a good strain. what it is it a hybrid indica?
I appreciate that. Here's what's going on in the flower tent, if you're interested.uow man, got nice plants!!
congrats
Sound tasty! I kinda failed with collecting pollen from my sweet skunk. I will definitely be ordering more. Btw... if you know how to reverse a female, you won't need a male and all the seeds you could get would be female since daddy was originally a mommy.Curious to see how dominate the Sweet Cherry Skunk Terps are gonna be. I was considering sifting through their “F5 Black Cherry Punch” to find a male (since Black Cherry Soda used to be my all time favorite strain back in 2010… I even made crosses with her that some breeders still use today)
That’s great for breeders looking to cash in quickly (developing strains meant to be nothing more than production clones) without doing anything for the long term preservation (or creation) of new true breeding gene poolsSound tasty! 10-15 years from now… MOST seed catalogs will be nothing more than “unconventional top cross hybrids” (or random and unpredictable trait combined poly hybrids as you might know them as today)That’s great for breeders looking to cash in quickly (developing strains meant to be nothing more than production clones) without doing anything for the long term preservation (or creation) of new true breeding gene pools
Looks like you and I are on different levels. I'm just an individual having fun and learning in his personal grow space. That’s great for breeders looking to cash in quickly (developing strains meant to be nothing more than production clones) without doing anything for the long term preservation (or creation) of new true breeding gene pools
Why do you think “seed lines” become obsolete as soon as a “breeder cut” emerges? I’m making seed valuable again
Blah blah blah. I hear this all the time. I didn't fuck it up. I'm not pushing my seed anywhere except in to the ground. I'm breeding for me and what I like. I'm not breeding for you or any commercial purpose. So, lighten up a little.10-15 years from now… MOST seed catalogs will be nothing more than “unconventional top cross hybrids” (or random and unpredictable trait combined poly hybrids as you might know them as today)
Very few breeders (myself included) are actually doing work to take strains beyond F5 to turn them into “True Breeding Parental Stock” that breeders in the future can eventually use to create “REAL” F1 Hybrids (True Breeding IBL x True Breeding IBL) that makes 100% uniform hybrids (like we have in corn)
I do hear what you are saying. I do not know enough to even get in to all of that. I would definitely educate myself more before choosing to try. I just don't want this stuff contaminating a thread that is meant to be something else. I know there are already threads just for those topics.10-15 years from now… MOST seed catalogs will be nothing more than “unconventional top cross hybrids” (or random and unpredictable trait combined poly hybrids as you might know them as today)

Ok, maybe next time don’t bring up breeding methods with a breeder until you are ready to have those discussionsI do hear what you are saying. I do not know enough to even get in to all of that. I only brought it up because you switched the conversation from Black Cherry Punch (me asking to lmk if one of it’s parent’s terps, the Black Cherry Pie, bred over well into the progeny that you got growing… Black Cherry Punch) into “here’s some reasons to make fems with Black Cherry Pie”
