Sounds like you might have a root pathogen, may be fusarium or verti wiltsame feed,,water,,same sun and weather,,the one with 2 pipe in it is self watering,,goes threw a quart of water a day,prays to the sun and other one droops,,same soil everything

i have,,just with naked eye though,,they will go all the way up the hollow stem,then they break out and become moths,,weird shit happen this season ,first time i seen it,,the boer worm started eating the inside of my squash,went up about 2inches and then came back out ,,weird shit,,if i can i will take a pic today and show you,,believe it or not the plant survived and mended itself,,just freaked me out cause they usally kill the plant unless you slice the stem and fish a small wire in there to get them out,,mama said good morning bro,,love that shower stall at your pool toyou in my boat buddy and thats all good I reckon. I sampled tissue multiple times ad carefully analyzed the contents of both fecal content and the pathogenic bacteria and mold it, the borer grub, hosts. The mold inside the vascular chamber of the plant was incredible. We have taken some samples and are growing them now in O2 depleted and N depleted states to try to see any secondary responses which might act as a harpin or other, preventing similar attack from pests the following years we plant. Save painting the stems with trunk paint, I am not sure how to combat this pest successfully and totally. My work has tho a better chance because i have been able to see it in action

i want to plant cover crop in my boxes but dont want it over whelming if you dig,,i want something i can cut back to about 2in on top and will grow year round,,just hadnt figured out what yet,,i had some rye grass i grew in my yard that never died,,and the dogs couldnt dig it up ,when they shit ,they like bulls afterwards tear that ground up,bastards,lmaothat is truth brother.

I am also now producing ready to drink chaga for humans and a bunch of foods which also have pro biotics, natural foods to get the microbes in without tablets of other. So you can just add them to the cooking process and not have to remember to take a pill 4 times a day
rye grass is highly mycorrizal and can put out a huge root system if the right conditions, no way a dog nor a cow gonna over graze that with claw or teeth, may be some clover, bit of fescue, for N and P. Any peas work well, I like these, also alpine strawberries but you will likely need some canpoy cover. i had them growing at the base of my oranges to test them out, worked ok till it got too hot at night, but with a 10C plus temp drop between day and night and not too much sun, they seemed to work oknaaaaah you kidding me,,damn bro cheerish that weed its the best,uhh uhhh
