I still keep 25 gallons, plus hoses and 50 more gallons of cans. And 100 lb of propane.late 70's to mid 80's gas shortages,,solution,odd even days ,last number of your license plate,you could fill up and get 1 5 gal can of gas,lasted about 7 months
The family drove right into the 67 Newark riots, saw the smoke and went around to the Great Lakes on the Canadian side, then drove just in time to reach the Detroit riots on our way to Yellowstone.mid 60's to mid 70's rioting in the streets because of vietnam war,,same as antifa ,blm white sepremisy,,soulution draft,most rioter ran to canada or enrolled in college

i miss the days of pumping gas and mingleing with customers,,those were good times ,the world wasnt completly greed then as it is nowim old enough to remember the gas shortage.
hell , when i was a kid my mom worked at a gas station, and after school i would pump gas . imagine that now.. i was maybe in 4th grade.
