im old enough to remember the gas shortage.

hell , when i was a kid my mom worked at a gas station, and after school i would pump gas . imagine that now.. i was maybe in 4th grade.

a funny memory that sentence brought on. i can remember it like yesterday, i enjoyed all the cool muscle cars..

The family drove right into the 67 Newark riots, saw the smoke and went around to the Great Lakes on the Canadian side, then drove just in time to reach the Detroit riots on our way to Yellowstone.
Dad would't stop to let me loot, I wanted a Color TV sooo badly.

I still keep 25 gallons, plus hoses and 50 more gallons of cans. And 100 lb of propane.
smart man,me the same,before hurricane i filled everything,even my ilegal for road use suzuki samuari hahah,4 propane bottles,,my generator runs on it,,i been thinking for last couple year of a conversion kit to get the 83 chevy on propane,,times like these show me i bee slacking off

the problem came with big biz and when mom and pa could not compete.. you lose all family value sin a corporate setting, its money focused.

iv not killed any male besides the red solo cup. im working on it.. i can not lift them yet, i hurt my self.. im ok if i go slow but any weight at all right now and its a no go.. i could not even water 1g pots if i wanted to right now..

you gonna compost them,,all the plants and a little soil with some whole oats and things get to working ,,need to build you a reclaimation box,reamend every year for the growing to come

yeah even my mom had a nova as a kid. so yeah. and malibu, and iv been in a lot of muslce cars.. my fav is a challenger with a small block sick pack.. my friend had one as a teen his dad own a junk yard and own a lot of cool muscle cars that got sold during the gas crises etc.. you own a super bird? when i was in college this dude had two of them rotting away under his tree. i walked up to talk to him i knew they were expensive back then so i just wanted to talk about cars but first thing this asshole did was pull a pocket of 100.00 out and said i could not afford it.. shrugs. i was like why are they rotting away he got pissed at me and told me to leave hah. assholes.

No, my friend did. He told us it was 50K car, we said BS! No way, its ugly and green or something,lol.
And alot of dead friends had muscle cars them too. Drunken driving was still a sport back then.
 
yea they are over priced.. its juts a rough handling car compared to modern cars but whatever id love to have one.. i want my challenger in plumb crazy, stick, race package of course. laughs.

302, 4bbl carb , dual, posi rear, bong , etc, because it was the gas shortage. And it knew its way home too!

For work, I had a 1954 Ford 24' flatbed truck with 10 convicted murders on board. Construction crew, all honest murders who were released and kept on working at our company after work release. Never even knew it for a year, never had a problem with any of them.
