i still havent strained my fermented plant juice from the tomato and sweet potato plants,hasnt been warm enough,so damn cold brown sugur hasnt broke down to a liquid yet,lmaowell you could but it will change the outcome since it will already have decomposer types on it and may have lost some of the ones giving it the benefit overall

I wrap mine in blankets mate pmsl but yes its better to make it in the warm.
