So today I have been finishing the pruning in the upper field, the trees look very pretty now LOL.
I have tested the soil requirement based on the drip line for the Bokashi and noted we need about 5 tons of material per hectare, 4 times a year. This we should be able to reduce over time, but anyway its not a heavy cost even in year 1 since we already have the relevant IMO.
My base N requirement is 1.3lbs of N per tree per year, I anticipate the bulk of this to come by way of liquid feeds in the first year, iNitiate, Bio Veg and Bio Floret depending on the season and flush sequence. I anticipate the bulk of this will be delivered via pre brewed teas to reduce the cost of application per tree, but I have been working on a 5-3-8 with pre loaded Mycos and 3% CaO as a granular, this way I can drop feed (150g per 1.5m2) the shallow roots inside the canopy drip line ring of Bokashi, then i could get away with running only Bio Balance Media via the irrigation lines at a rate of 6kg per hectare annually. This to prevent micronutrients binding at the higher pH range associated with calcareous soils, or otherwise leaching out of the system, and to assist in flocculation of the clays, lower maintenance of the irrigation lines by reducing the limescale deposits and so limiting downtime through blockages and or other waste.

I am not expecting a large yield this year, but I am expecting us to have the fully healthy orchard by the end of the winter. this then leaving us ready to target 3500+ Citrus Cartons per acre of high end Organic Navelinas and other citurs

thanks bro, its reno that got me here buddy. I have been using a straight mulch of Comfrey leaves, mostly because i didnt have anything else to hand, but anyway, it works great bro if you know this plant? It grows fast and provides lots of bio mass, excellent for mulching food crops too, breaks down in about 1-2 weeks, mine at 3inches thick is usually all gone by the end of bloom, leaving just awesome K rich humus

i got a 5 gal bucket full comfrey,,been sitting in the sun about a month now,,dont no how use the shit,,hadnt had time to investgate it,lmao,,but think its broke down to about 3/4 bucket now with the stinkest shit you could imagine ,lmao had on back porch for couple weeks and had to move that shit,lol
