You're off to a good start. I enjoy cloning, but I haven't done much of it. We grew some excellent Bubblegum clones last summer, so I'm sure we'll be doing it again soon.

Nice job with timing! I suck at that part hahaha! My last run was XX from bag seed, it was super cool growing the same plant with “all the differences”! I had one that was full on purple!!

Not showing as a best practice, just sharing what I personally do, and this low effort process works just fine for me. This is my nursery for clones. It's a fish aquarium I keep on the patio in indirect sun. During winter months I move all my plants including clones into the shed at night for supplemental light. They don't get heat or humidity control. And, occasionally I'll get one that doesn't take, like one of them in there now. Not uncommon to watch them wilt and recover as the temperature jumps around throughout the day. The only concession I make is if it's below 60 degrees I'll bring them inside for indirect sunlight. When they take root and more often than not they do, they're hearty and resilient babies and less delicate and fragile to what mother nature might throw at them.

These clippings are from two monster cropped clones, one Durban Poison and one Ice Cream Cake. If you look close you can see some of the reveg leaves. One of the Durban Poison girls didn't take, so I'll just grab another clipping. I have plenty of plant to use thanks to all the branches that grew out of preflowers. The monsters I took clippings from went into dirt on October 1. I should mention the monster cropping was accidental but now that I have seen what they do, I'll be trying it deliberately in the future.

For those of you who enjoy gardening beyond cannabis, the fat leaf clippings in the box are some killer hybrid avocadoes we got from the in-laws that I'm rooting. They have an awesome buttery nutty taste and the avocadoes are completely green when ripe.

I just bought a "Propagation System" from AC Infinity that's supposed to be good for either seeds or clones. It arrived two days ago and I don't have any plants to clone right now. So, I'm soaking some seeds to get them ready for planting. That's mostly for practice and to see how well this thing works. It includes a heat mat and a controller. It can also be controlled with a UIS system controller. The lights have step-wise settings from 0 (off) to 10. It's on step 1 in the picture. I watered the soil yesterday. The vents are all closed so the RH is high. Some reviewers added small fans, but I'm not sure I'll do that. The manual says to keep the vents closed till the plants are an inch tall. It also says to keep the temperature between 65F and 75F. That has me wondering what the best temperature is for cannabis seeds.

Even after four days, the clones remain standing. The clone on the left was withering on the first day, but after foliar spraying the dome and plants with water, it was standing by the second day. I intend to wait 14 days or until the roots are well developed before transplanting.

The state of the cuttings. The humidity level is 81%, and the temperature is 81.1°F/27.2°C.Day Four I haven't yet opened any vents.Sometimes when I foliar spray the plants and dome, I burp it.

I don't know if you ever grew cloned MJ before but they don't grow like a seed does. Seems like they grow much faster and will have more branches than a seed grown plant. How long are you gonna veg. that bag seed for before you flip it?

I have never before cloned a mj plant succesfully. Just plants, like tomatoes. I've used Clonex and Rockwool and failed numerous times. I made the decision to carry out this small experiment. It looks to be female, but I hope it doesn't hermie on me. I just flipped the bag seed into flowering five days ago

I completed some late, low-stress training today, five days into the flowering stage. I could as well do it now, before the buds form, even though I should have done it sooner. So far, it seems to be female.

It appears to be rooting on day four. It's still too early to tell, but it appears to be functioning.

Hope it all works out. So far it looks like the cuts are ok.

I don't like taking cuts that small. I just don't have much success when they are that small. In all my years of cloning what works for me best is to take cuts with no less than 3 nodes. I usually root them in dirt or cubes but going forward I'm going to make a DIY aeroponic cloner and see how that goes. I've tried to use other aeroponic cloners but ended up with rotted clones. Going to grow a mother and play with the aerocloner to see what techniques I need to employ for success.
